A Blue Star, the place is a bit far from other restaurants and it requires walking or riding but I still came back a second time. (The first time I was almost alone) but this time after waiting over fifteen minutes for the menu and another fifteen minutes waiting for the waiter to ask what I wanted to order (while there were very few people), I approached and asked the manager if he wanted customers to return to his place again or once is enough. The Indian manager didn't like the question very much and shouted at the top of his voice in English and Hebrew "Go away" and "I don't want people" and other unpleasant phrases in many languages even after I rode away, so that even those who are sitting comfortably will hear shouts and feel uncomfortable like me. Of course I won't be back but if the manager reads this (or someone reads it to him) all I wanted to say is that you should make sure the waiter goes between the customers in the restaurant and checks that everything is okay. A good manager listens and improves. A bad manager yells and drives customers away. It is true that a group of people is more money than a single person, but as difficult as it is to provide service in India in this way, the restaurant is satisfied with customers who return because they felt...
Read moreFood is good, and many people enjoy the place too, but my experience in particular was one which felt discriminatory and unfriendly especially from the owner of this place. My brother and I were playing a game of pool while waiting for our food and the owner kept staring at us and while in the last 10 minutes of our game (I was winning) he said ‘I’m covering the table’ with a very rude tone and we had to leave the game abruptly and confused. After our food I went up to the owner to ask why he behaved like that with us, he did not have much to say, was not at all paying attention to my question and simple said ‘It’s my table’. I understand that, and I respect his decision, however I feel it was unnecessary and we play pool at many places around pushkar and this was definitely an uncomfortable experience. I think the owners need to be more kind and friendly with all kinds of guests (irrespective of our ethnicity...
Read moreThe place is cool but the food was not that good in my opinion and very expensive for a restaurant in India. I was there with my girlfriend and she ordered a juice with no ice but they served it with ice. She asked an other juice but they gave her the same glass and juice without the ice. They took off the ice only. She got sick the next 2 days and had to visit a local doctor and needed a nutritional injection and treatment for 5 days. It's not our first time in India. Nevertheless it's probably the only place in India where you can have a couscous or Israeli...
