Just wanna say~ Heaven for non veg lovers!
Writing my whole experience here👇
Stepping into Asli Zaika Non Veg in Kota, you immediately notice its lively and bustling atmosphere. The restaurant is often crowded, especially during evenings and weekends, creating a vibrant and energetic vibe. The staff are generally polite and engaging, although during peak hours they can seem a bit stretched due to the rush. This place clearly attracts a diverse crowd, from families to students and groups of friends, all drawn by its reputation. The ambiance is straightforward and functional, without any fancy décor, but it serves its purpose well. One of the branches is perceived to be slightly more upscale and quieter, with better maintenance and a slightly higher price point. For those who prefer a less noisy environment and more comfort, that branch might be worth a visit. It’s wise to arrive early, preferably before 7 PM, to secure a good spot and avoid the crowd. Where this restaurant truly shines is in its non-vegetarian offerings. The menu boasts a variety of Mughlai-style dishes, with butter chicken, chicken biryani, kebabs, and changezi frequently praised by patrons. Many diners appreciate the authentic flavors and generous portions, often remarking that the prices are reasonable given the quantity and variety on offer. However, there are some consistency issues to note. Some customers have reported smaller portion sizes, especially with online orders, and occasionally chicken pieces that are undersized or undercooked. The dishes tend to be on the oily side, which some enjoy for the richness, while others find it a bit overwhelming. The use of spices is quite bold, which can be a hit or miss depending on your taste preference. Cleanliness and hygiene have been points of concern for several visitors. Reports of dirty plates, less-than-spotless serving utensils, and exposed food near dusty or fly-prone areas have been mentioned. Some patrons have noticed a decline in cleanliness compared to previous visits, which can detract from the overall dining experience. Service is generally courteous but can be slow during busy times. Wait times increase significantly when the restaurant is packed, and online orders sometimes experience delays with statuses lingering in ‘preparing’ for longer than expected. Delivery orders, in particular, seem to suffer from inconsistencies, including smaller portions, fewer chicken pieces, and a drop in taste quality compared to dining in. Regarding value for money, the consensus is that in-house dining offers decent food at reasonable prices, especially appealing to students and local residents. However, the value diminishes when ordering through delivery services due to smaller portions and slower service. Some feel they are paying extra primarily for the restaurant’s name and location rather than consistently exceptional food. In summary, Asli Zaika Non Veg is a place with strong points like a wide non-veg menu, authentic flavors, and affordable pricing for dine-in customers. But it also faces challenges such as hygiene concerns, inconsistent portion sizes and food quality, and a busy, sometimes chaotic dining environment. If you plan to visit, it’s best to go during less crowded hours for a more comfortable experience, prefer dining in over delivery, and manage your expectations regarding perfect service and consistency. It’s a spot worth trying if you enjoy hearty Mughlai dishes and don’t mind a lively atmosphere with occasional...
Read moreThis restaurant was good when it was started, but now it is pathetic. We took quater butter chicken 160Rs, chicken changezi 160Rs, and biryani was much oily and instead of 4 piece in 70 rs half Kg they just gave 3 small pieces which was semi cooked. I used to order a lot of food from zomato and swiggy from here, but now after seeing the level of cleaning in person I will STOP ordering form here. The worst thing is that they had no cleanliness, the handwash basin was filled with dirt and chicken bones. All the food was open, the mithai, chicken, mutton in front of a open running road, covered with the road dust and all kind of things. There was flies all round the place, dustbin was filled with left food and placed inside the restaurant near the basin where people wash there hands, and the handwash basin, you can see all in the pics. I will totally not recommend this restaurant. Idk what the kota health department is doing about the cleanliness of this restaurant. Food 3 🌟 Chicken changezi 3 🌟 Butter Chicken 2 🌟 Biriyani 1 🌟 Place 2 🌟 Cost of food 3 🌟 Portion 3 🌟 Washroom 1 🌟 Cleanliness 0 🌟 Overall...
Read moreFood quality is average. They have increased price of almost every item and using different ways to add extra money in your bill. For example they won't give you normal water and put that normal water in the plastic bottle and then charge 19rs for a bottle.
Also rates are little high as compared to Jaipur and Delhi. Generally in Jaipur Chicken Changezi is 120-130 rs (Quarter) but Asli Zaika is charging 200 rs.
In the Menu they have almost everything but sadly they don't have any kind of soup, also no veg main course items are available other than Daal and Paneer. In veg starter they only have Paneer tikka (Don't try it) and also they don't have Italian, Chinese etc but all these items they have listed in their menu list.
They have separate space for family but entrance in that building is really dangerous. Also lot of smoke at entrance. Due to limited number of options they're still on Top position in Non veg segment but I won't recommend...
