I recently visited Country Express Home Cafe Kota last Wednesday after seeing their enticing photos and positive reviews on Instagram. However, my experience was far from what I had anticipated. Despite the Instagram-worthy facade, the reality was disappointing. The ambiance did not live up to the hype; it lacked the charm portrayed in the reels and posts.

Upon seating ourselves, we endured a considerable wait for someone to attend to us and take our order. Eventually, I had to approach the counter myself to place our order as no waiter seemed to be available. The lack of attention to customers was noticeable and off-putting.

When the food finally arrived, the presentation was lackluster, especially considering the prices charged. I opted for Hakka Noodles and Chilli Paneer, but the latter lacked any real spice, which was disappointing. The Hakka Noodles failed to impress in taste and quality, especially considering their price point. Moreover, the cafe's aesthetic did not translate well in person; it was far from photogenic as expected.

To add to the disappointment, the music selection was subpar and did not enhance the dining experience; instead, it detracted from it, leaving a sour note. The service was extremely slow. The air conditioning was not working. If you are accustomed to an AC environment, please avoid this cafe. High prices do not equate to high standards. The cigar rolls were bland, the quesadillas were just okay, and the falafel was overly salty. The pita was insufficient even for one person. The drinks were below average; you can find similar or better taste at any roadside food joint. The staff didn't care about customer feedback. I gave feedback on my mojito after having a sip of it , and they didn't bother to respond.
