Thapa Ji Ke Momos — Restaurant in Rajasthan

I wanted to sit outside on the bench but couldn't as it was too crowded. Then I was directed to sit in a room with an attached toilet. I had never in my life have attended a restaurant with a seating next to a toilet. It was disgusting. I could notice this only after I ordered my food . I had no option but to sit there. Please check the place you opt to sit because you see the whole crowd using the only toilet during the time of your meal and you keep requesting them to close the door as it is a weird feeling . Then comes your food with no spoons. Keep requesting for them till you finish one of your served tray. Yes food is served in tray. No plates, no spoons . Whole family will eat the food in one single tray. They are charging you exorbitantly yet will not serve you basic plates or spoons. The food is very very spicy.. I mean intolerably spicy. You will end up ordering for couple of cool Drink or charged water . No free water is provided. The music they play will damage your ear cords. The waiter will not be able to hear to your voice. You will literally be screaming to place your order. Pathetic condition. No authentic Bill is served . No registered bill copy. A lady with a chit written with some numbers will ask your phone number . She will tell you the bill amount at the counter . We pay and leave because you will be left with no patience to argue or find out as you just want to leave the place for taste buds , your food pipe, your gut and your ears want so peace and calmness as you have spiced up your life by all means. My sincere advice not to visit this restaurant. Explore! you have better options than this one. Let them learn to run a restaurant. The ratings you see are forced by the waiters nagging to give 5 star even before you finish your meal.They very politely request for high ratings.

Ratings should be genuine. Please donot corrupt them to please the owners or people associated with the business. They help the others as authentic guide as we spend our time and hard earned money for the service . I wanted to rate it zero or negative grade , but ended up giving one as there is no zero in the options.

Please donot comment a review as destructive when it is not written in your favour Cutlery was not served to any customer in my room . Everyone was repeatedly asking for it Bill is never given in an authentic way. Customers who visit can relate to my comment. Regular water bottle or glass of water is not served on the table ever. Music volume is same as on all days . First time I have seen live band on Sunday. Surprisingly Spicy steamed momos were not as spiced in relative to fried paneer momos. Please check with your cook. I have visited your restaurant couple of times. I always gave a genuine feedback. Learn to accept constructive criticism as a way to improve your standards rather than replying to comments as destructive ,if doesn't add in your favour.

You claim to be so experienced in the business so, please show expertise in handling customers on busy days , serve us delicious quality food, better...

Kudos to the environment and aesthetics but a decent food experience. They have been doing good in Kota, specially having multiple outlets in a city is appreciatable. I went with my elder cousin sister who was their regular customer in their early days, it was her observation that food taste and quality seem to be deteriorated over time. Ultimately you got to a restaurant to eat and for that taste is the king, which has faded overtime.

Pros Extremely welcoming and energetic staff, it is good to see people smiling and attending to you.

Aesthetics of the place are top notch.

Option of both outdoor and indoor is appreciatable.

Entrance is also large, wheelchair accessible and plent of parking.

Portion amount and size are good enough.

Taste is decent not bad not good

Major Disappointment in taste were Veg Kurkure momos not being kurkure enough. Soya chaap too was not crispy.

In my closing statement I would say Expensive for the quality worth it for the aesthetics...

When I craved for momos I asked my friend so he gave me a number to order than when I call everything was fine except the one who was taking orders on call didn't tell me the total amount including tax and delivery charges rather he tried to become over smart by only disclosing the actual amount of their momos so in first look it seems how inexpensive their prices are as far as home delivery is concerned and if in that much affordable price you can get quality momos at your doorstep than its amazing but afterwards when there was a time to pay delivery boy opened up everything the rates got mis matched so it's not the responsibility of delivery boy rather who takes order on call to provide the complete information..So it is highly unprofessional and very disappointment at the same time..Moreover their standard time of delivery was also not defined it took more than an...
