Used to be the soul of Talwandi. Now, just a shadow of its past.

TREAT was the place 15 years ago — the go-to for pizzas, burgers, chowmein, dosas, and pav bhaji. Before Domino’s even entered Kota, TREAT was our pizza. The nostalgia attached to this place runs deep — family outings, late evenings, great food. So, I recently tried to relive those memories.

We ordered: • Onion Capsicum Cheese Pizza • Paneer Tomato Pizza • Cheese Burger • Veg Chowmein

The chowmein was still good, just like before. But the pizzas? A disaster. Dry base, weird taste, cheese barely did its job. Burger? Bland and soggy. Honestly, even a ₹15 roadside burger has more soul than this one.

Even the tomato ketchup sachets have taken a hit. They now provide some generic “Tops” ketchup instead of the rich, chef-special sachets they once did. It clearly shows — they’re cutting corners even on the smallest things.

Yes, the cheese smell brought back a memory, but the taste didn’t follow. The vibe is still there — the same people running it, maybe even generations working together, which is beautiful to see. But the kitchen needs a serious overhaul. It felt like all the old cooks were replaced, and sadly, the charm left with them.

Pathetic, very bad service. I visited the place as it was close to my heart since childhood, and I am not staying in Kota anymore. The order was extremely delayed for my friend. And over to that the owner/manager/ whoever mannerless creature came up with a very arrogant tone and high pitch voice told us to leave, or pay 200/- per hour to remain seated. I was there waiting for my friend and I ordered food and when my friend arrived they delayed her order. I asked him if we could place one more order as we were there to enjoy food and have quality time. But this human was completely insane, he shamelessly asked to pay 200/- per hour for sitting and said you cannot order food. Even after asking him to talk in a proper manner he continued as if we were begging for food at his restaurant. No clue what he was frustrated on and he took it out on us. And as a person in the restaurant business he needs proper training. Anyways from my happiest memories with the place to the most bitter experience.
