Prism by Fern is a refined yet welcoming space that impresses from the first course to the last sip. The atmosphere is chic and understated, allowing the food to take center stage—and it truly does.

The standout of the lunch was without a doubt the daal makhani. Rich, velvety, and slow-cooked to perfection, it was comfort food elevated to fine-dining status. The depth of flavor was incredible—smoky, creamy, and beautifully spiced without being overpowering. It’s rare to see a classic dish executed with this much finesse. Honestly, we’d come back just for another bowl of that daal.

We also tried the Mango Mania Lassi, a seasonal special that felt like summer in a glass. Bright, fruity, and luxuriously smooth, it was the perfect complement to the savory dishes—refreshing without being too sweet.

Service was polished and warm, and the team showed genuine enthusiasm for the menu. Prices are definitely on the higher side, which is the only reason for the half-star deduction, but the experience, particularly the food, justifies the splurge.

We visited Prism Restaurant at The Fern Residency, Udaipur, for their lunch buffet and had a wonderful experience. The spread was not overwhelmingly large but thoughtfully curated, with a selective choice of starters, main courses, and desserts. What stood out was the quality and taste of the food – every dish we tried was flavorful and well-prepared. The sev tamatar sabji was especially outstanding, probably one of the best I’ve ever had.

The ambiance of the restaurant is calm and pleasant, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Service was equally impressive – the staff was attentive, courteous, and ensured everything was taken care of smoothly.
