Saffron - The Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Rajasthan

We had ordered spring masala Dosa, burger, hot and sour soup. Spring masala dosa which cost Rs 240/- was stuffed heavily with over cooked noodles. It didn't had any taste and sambhal was tasteless. Burger cost Rs. 110 was very bad. It was pathetic. Soup was orange reddish in colour and very oily. It's was too tasteless, no spicy, no flavour and it was smelly as they have cooked it long ago and stale. In all food items, the salt and spices were missing. Even for children it was without any spices. It was waste of money.

The interior is very good but there is lot of spacing between the table and Chair. We cannot sit comfortable and have food. We have sit in the edge of chair...

Disappointing Experience

I rarely write reviews, but I felt I had to share this. The food here was strictly average — nothing special at all and definitely not worth the price. Some dishes were bland and lacked freshness.

What really ruined the experience was the staff’s behavior. They were rude, inattentive, and seemed annoyed when we asked for basic things like water refills or the bill. There was no sense of courtesy or hospitality, which made the entire meal uncomfortable.

Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place. There are plenty of better restaurants around with better food and staff who actually care about...

While traveling in train from Ajmer to Mumbai we ordered food from this restaurant as it was suggested by the railway app. We ordered our dinner consist of Rotis, Veg Mix, Dal, Rice and Chinese rice and Manchurian combo. Each dish was delicious and quality and quantity was perfect. Taste of some was not as we wanted it to be but it was not bad at all. Packaging and cutlery was perfectly given. We were gald and thankful that we came accross this restaurant and had our dinner. We also asked them to get us some water bottles and they helped us to get our food to us before the train leaves the station....
