My recent experience at urban theka was extremely disappointing and one I wouldn’t wish upon anyone. The table service was shockingly poor, leaving us waiting far longer than necessary just to be acknowledged.
When our food finally arrived, it was clear that freshness was not a priority. The noodles were anything but fresh, and the burger seemed like it had been sitting out for far too long. Despite our polite request for replacements, we were subjected to over an hour of waiting, during which the staff made no effort to rectify the situation. To add insult to injury, they had the audacity to include the returned food in our bill.
Not only did the staff fail to provide adequate service, but they also engaged in a heated argument with the girls in our group, displaying shocking levels of rudeness and disrespect.
Even after the replacement food eventually arrived, it was evident that quality was not a concern. The taste was lacking, and it was clear that no care had been put into its preparation.
Overall, my experience at this cafe was nothing short of a disaster. I strongly advise against visiting this establishment, as the combination of poor service, low-quality food, and disrespectful staff makes it an experience best avoided. Save yourself the frustration and find a more reputable cafe to dine at.
And thank you cafe for giving discount 10 Rupees from the bill at the end of argument regarding inclusion of returned food...
