If you're on a long drive and looking for a good breakfast spot, this place is definitely worth a stop. While they serve decent vegetarian dishes, my personal favorite is always the plain roast and coffee. The food is tasty and the seating is sufficient, although it can be difficult to find a seat during peak hours.
One of the best things about this place is the ample space available for roadside parking. The staff is also quite cooperative, and they offer digital payment options for added convenience. Additionally, there are sweets available at the cash counter if you're in the mood for a little something extra.
However, the first impression upon entering the restaurant can be a bit off-putting due to a disagreeable smell. This is definitely something they could work on to improve the overall experience. Additionally, the prices may be a bit higher than your average vegetarian restaurant, so keep that in mind.
That being said, the food is good, the parking is sufficient, and the location is easily reachable. It's also a hygienic spot to grab a bite, although wheelchair accessibility may be limited. If you're in the area for lunch, they offer a meal with 9 different types of side dishes, served with your choice of normal or Ponni rice.
Overall, this is a relatively busy restaurant located near Nedimbassery Airport. Despite the smell issue, the atmosphere is clean and welcoming, with a variety of tasty, authentic Tamil cuisines to choose from. The chutneys are particularly delicious, and the staff is friendly and...

Read moreI had the pleasure of dining at Saravana Bhavan Vegetarian Hotel in Angamaly and decided to try out their offerings. My order consisted of tea, 2 vadas, bhattura, and watermelon juice. The experience left me with a mix of opinions.
The vada, unfortunately, didn't meet my expectations. Its taste was rather average, lacking the crispiness and flavor I had hoped for. However, the bhattura was a delightful surprise. It boasted a satisfying texture and was well-seasoned, redeeming the overall dining experience.
One highlight worth mentioning is the restaurant's parking space. Finding parking in crowded areas can often be a challenge, but Saravana Bhavan Vegetarian Hotel had ample parking available. This convenience added to the overall comfort of the visit.
While the vada was a bit of a letdown, the delicious bhattura and the ease of parking certainly made up for it. The staff was courteous and the ambiance was pleasant, enhancing the dining experience. With a bit of improvement in the vada's preparation, Saravana Bhavan could easily become a go-to spot for vegetarian cuisine...
