The restaurant was very cozy and centrally located in Pelling. They welcomed us with a jug of warm drinking water which was a great gesture and need of the hour because of the cold weather outside. The staff who attended was very courteous and made us feel very comfortable. Coming to the food, we being vegetarians were surprised to see so many options available. We started with a big bowl of veg thukpa which was very light and refreshing. We then ordered veg chilli momos and were surprised by the quantity. The momos were hot juicy as well as spicy. We ordered ginger honey team and lemon tea which went well with the food. At last we ordered veg schezwan noodles and honey chilli potato to go. All the food was very conveniently priced with big serving sizes. All in all a nice restaurant which everyone should try when they visit Pelling. I for sure will do that next...

Ordered Chai, Tukpa, fried rice and steamed chichen momo. Inside momo the chichen was black n smelly. I gave them to dogs. Tukpa can't be difficult to make but not edible. Fried rice was okay. But they didn't even understand ' Fried Egg' which i oredered extra by paying 50rs ended up having aweful egg dish on top of my fried rice. Staff n the owner were not even freindly, which is very unusual in Skkim where most of them are extremely friendly with a big smile. Had the 1st worst experience in my 2-week-jouney in Skkim. There was a sudden hailsone shower and a small puppy needed to escape to the restaurant but they didn't welcome him. I felt so irritated...

Big Bowl is the best place to stay right at upper pelling and good view for mountains .The room was neat, large and clean .24 hrs hot water .We loved the place a lot we extended our stay and big advantage is that they have their own famous restaurant on the ground floor with delicious food and breakfast we loved the food too.The Hotel owners were kind and satisfied all our requirements. We would like to thank Mr Ashish who is the caretaker of the hotel who took very good care of us. Wishing all the staff best of luck and keep doing the...

A seemingly popular eatery, with 6 tables and a family run atmosphere. The food we had was meh - the rice that was to accompany our veg curry arrived half an hour before anything else. It was a bit too oily, and, well, cold by the time the veg curry arrived. The curry was ok, nothing special. Last to arrive was my chicken thupka soup - again nothing special. Get your order read back to you as I was brought chicken pakoras first instead of the soup. The mom straightened the order out after this mis step by the young lad.

The food here was extremely tasty. We were in Pelling only for a couple of days but ate here every day. We tried a salad called shadoku. Very very tasty ( if you like the sharp tang of mustard) and something we have not seen in any other menu. We tried the pork version but they did have chicken and veg versions as well. We also had a Sikkimese lunch thali one day and that was scrumptious as well. Friendly staff too.
