Must read before booking this hotel..Nice location ..only one plus point..The room they provided us that was the worst room I have ever stay..No sunlight nothing...water was liking from the floor .. washroom was good. I am not aware of other rooms...But the room I got it was worst..Now about restaurant ..we visited in pick season just 2 weeks back..In the evening we ordered for some chicken pakoda and chicken fried rice and chilli chicken for dinner..after almost 1 hour they confirmed that they are unable to provide any kind of chicken items as those are not available..so we totally cancel the order and went outside...Now the staff behaviour...Young guys were good managers were with very attitude..Which is no accepted.. because I didn't went there to see there attitude.. and on a pick season food is not available this is also not accepted...So please if you don't have any other option then also don't book this hotel as per me ...If u don't have a good stay you will not njoy you trip and Pelling is known for its scenic beauty..if you cannot enjoy that then why should you visit that place...Basically OYO is just cheating with the customers with this kind of hotels...On the spot you have nothing to do...
Read moreThe hotel is in a nice location in Upper Pelling with market and restaurants all around. view from the hotel is also good. Rooms are also good and have basic amenities. Food was also good and tasty. The reason for giving a low rating is the service. Service in the hotel was pathetic. The manager of the hotel was very unprofessional and incompetent. There were delay in providing basic things like towels , blankets , extra cot. We booked a suite room where we were staying 3 people and paid for 3 people. When asked for extra towel and extra blanket for the 3rd person , the response from the manager was as per hotel policy only limited towel and limited blankets will be provided. Geyser was not working most of the times and there were issue in electrical fixtures in one of the rooms. No proper power backup during loadshedding.we hade to do a lot of follow ups for the issues to get fixed. The only guy who was working all these times and supported us a lot was TILAK. Real hardworking guy and he was the only one who was making sure we do not face any problems. He was single handedly attending to all the guests. Appreciate his efforts and Thank you very much TILAK. Suggestion to the Hotel owners is to increase the number of staffs and recruit a proper and...
Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel Ladakh House during my trip to Pelling, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best hotels in Upper Pelling – especially if you're looking for breathtaking views, comfort, and convenience.||||The location is perfect – just a short 2-minute walk from the helipad, which made morning walks to catch the sunrise over Kanchenjunga absolutely magical. That spot alone makes it the best hotel near helipad for anyone who wants quick access to the viewing point without needing a car or long walk.||||My room was spacious, clean, and had a private balcony with an incredible view of the mountains. Waking up to the sight of Kanchenjunga from bed was one of the highlights of my trip. The staff was courteous and helpful, and while service could be a bit slow at times (especially during breakfast), they were always polite and accommodating.||||The in-house restaurant served tasty Indian and Tibetan meals, and the quiet, peaceful vibe made it a great place to relax after a day of sightseeing.||||If you’re visiting Pelling and want a place with amazing views, easy access to the helipad, and comfortable rooms at a fair price, I highly recommend Hotel Ladakh House. I’d happily...
