Country Restuarant — Restaurant in Sikkim

While going to Lachung from Gangtok, we stopped here for a lunch break and asked for Sikkim Traditional Food. Mr. Bhutia who is a Civil Engineer by profession has arranged a marvelous, hygienic and tasty food which he prepared in front of us. All the vegetables which he used are from his own farm which are organically grown. You can realize the taste of real vegetables in his dishes.

I would not hesitate giving 5 star rating for the hospitality he has shown towards his guests and the dishes he has made shows his love and passion for cooking.

This is a lovely place with a personal touch by the owner S. T. Bhutia. If you want to enjoy a leisurely meal, look no further. Mr. Bhutia gave us some red chilli sauce which is all made at the restaurant itself. The taste still lingers on. Rang Rang is the place all cars stop enroute from Gangtok to Lachen or Lachung. All other restaurants basically serve set meals which are cooked and kept in casseroles. We found them unhygenic and walked up to Country restaurant.
