Lounge 31A — Restaurant in Sikkim

We are in Gangtok, wondering around for a place to eat dinner and we came across this place, very close to our hotel and OH MY LORD…it was the best decision we ever made!

The atmosphere here is just amazing, we were at the karaoke bar, YES, there is a complementary karaoke bar and also a complementary pool table and of course complementary food!

We started off with drinks and had the chicken choila.. I had Choila for the first time and I was absolutely blown away by the taste! Then I went on to have chicken steamed momos and it was so soft and juicy and delicious! It comes with salad and chicken soup and there are 10pieces - yes 10pcs and I had all of them with ease! It was do delish!

My husband had butter rice and chicken curry and they gave complimentary salad!

Oh it was just a wonderful experience! The service, the manager, the bar tender- all of them were so so very good!

Very good quality and quantity for the price!

If you are in Gangtok, do give them a try!...

Its a cool lounge in Gangtok. At the zero point branch they have got a little overhang space outdoors for dining. (Wish there was a bigger terrace though.) They have another branch for sort of fine dining at Deorali. The music collection is good and the staff is amicable. You can even enjoy karaoke on weekends as the place is open till midnight (last order at 10:30 or so). Watch out for rhe post lockdown effects, some brands of drinks might not be available and the place was not booming with a cool happening crowd when I went. But its a matter of time. The food sure is good, quality and taste both. Quantity could be improved a little.. we always want more of what we like, right?

Ordered biriyani and noodles, noodles were delicious but biriyani was not up to the mark with taste. Have attached the menu so that it can help others as well. The thing that I didn't liked - we were 3 in numbers including my mom. The lady only served 1 finger bowl after meal. Shocking to see that, I asked her for 2 more finger bowls. She went and came back to say that 'sirf maa k liye finger bowl tha' which is highly appreciated but come on, that left me thinking that you valued the remaining two of us less than my mom. You must treat customers equally, be it senior or junior. Either you serve finger bowl to all of them or don't at all. Courtesy cannot be...
