Read moreNot a variety of Good quality Sweets you found here but only CHOMCHOM is great. Seating area is not specifically clean and spacious. In very small area they fix many tables and chairs which is make this place noisy and dirty. Hopefully management look after this matter and remove some tables and chairs and ask the local customers to keep quiet because others will be disturbed for them and its effects their business and obviously waiters and those persons working in this shop they must be very clean when they work and serve in this sweet shop. I know the owner will be thinking it is not the place for tourists but I am telling to him I am not a tourist here and those local people are coming here they are also human so please maintain your shop properly and make it clean and keep your reputation good. I found a hair in a Besan Laddu and it is coming from inside the laddu and show the waiter and he returned the plate and bring another. Its not good for customers health. Such a small place they make here kitchen, sweet display area and seating and it is really not a great experience for my family and teenager kids. I asked those customers who like to taste Bengali sweets in Darjeeling Town you come at Makhan Bhog and only buy CHOMCHOM and bring it to your home or hotel where you staying and try. It's really very...

Actually the owners are into cost cutting by keeping less staffs at delivery counter which has a severe repercussion in terms of customer service.
We visited on 31.07.2022 and waited for half and hour after being assured that the food would be delivered withing 5-10 minutes. However the rude delivery guy was ignorant about our concerns and our order. He only focused on bulk order being packed for delivery. The person at the counter was too rude and arrogant.
At last we cancelled the order and left the premises.
There is another serious concern about the shop. The packaged bhujias are pathetic. Half of them are not fresh. They are stale and the crispness is gone.
The owners must make sure that the staffs treat the...
