Shri Maharaja — Restaurant in Siliguri

My family and i have been coming to your resturent for about 2 and 3 years and i recommend it to everyone but in just few months your resturents food and service have deteriorated. I am writing to express my deep disappointment following a recent visit to Maharaja Restaurant in Siliguri. During our meal, my colleagues and I found a baby cockroach in my shahi paneer dish. This incident raises serious concerns regarding the restaurant's hygiene and food safety standards. And I also take the picture of it as a proof .

What compounded the issue was the staff’s response. Upon informing the service personnel, there was neither an apology nor any expression of concern. Instead, their behavior was dismissive and, regrettably, somewhat rude.

Such an experience is unacceptable in any dining establishment. Cleanliness, professionalism, and customer care should be fundamental. Unfortunately, Maharaja Restaurant failed to uphold these standards during our visit. I sincerely hope the management takes immediate corrective measures to prevent similar occurrences...

One of the best veg restaurants in Siliguri.We tried CCD Coffee,honey chilli potato, tandoori momos, Chilli paneer Pizza, chocolate icecream and vanilla Icecream. We recommend you to have the pizza and honey chilli potato without a doubt.Both was so so delicious I can't express. Specially the pizza was full of cheese.we loved the ice-creams too. Everything was very tasty and mouthwatering. The prices were pocket friendly. They also serve thalis which we'll definitely try next time. I also packed Shahi paneer for my home which was lajawaab. The packaging was also very good. Overall we found this gem in our food journey and will be going there over...

Me and my family went to this restaurant for dinner for the first time, and our expectations were very high. Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience.

We had to wait around 15 minutes before placing our order, and to save time, we decided to go for the Maharaja Thali. But to our disappointment, the rice was completely stale. We immediately complained, and while they accepted the issue, at the time of billing they refused to acknowledge it. We ended up paying the full amount and left disappointed.

Moral: “Unchi Dukan, Fika Pakwan” — This place is all about show-off and looting customers rather than serving good quality food.
