Adyar Ananda Bhavan - A2B — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Recently last Sunday, we had horrible experience in A2B Nandambakkam.

We went to A2B for breakfast , we waited almost 20 minutes and finally supplier came to us to take our orders.

I asked them why it is taking too much time for taking an order, and supplier replied me that we don’t have service in this place. Then I asked her is there any boards are placed here and close to 20 people are waiting for their orders to be taken.

She immediately reverted me to change place and sit.

I found it is insulting and harsh way of reply from her.

Then I went to counter where I found 3 people are already shouting at the hotel supervisor

We left the place without having food.

PS: There is no proper board or communication that the place is reserved. Earlier to us there were two Coffe cups in our table.

And less man power to manage 50+ orders I found only 3 or 4 people are managing the whole show.

I request management to focus on these things, it will reflect bad in your business.

And for lifesake we decided not visit anymore...

Newly opened Adyar Ananda Bhavan right in front of the Chennai trade center. Built with a great infrastructure and ambiance. A wonderful place for tiffin and family lunch purely veg. Went for dinner, the board had ghee pongal which was my all time wishlist but was told it is not available. No dahi vada or sambar vada which was my next favourites. So finally ordered Poori chole, Parotta kurma and ofcourse their strong filter coffee. Poori was fantastic, chole has good amount of masala. Parotta was so so soft and had so much oil but yet tasty. The best part was their strong filter coffee.

Ambiance was good, was a busy place had to wait couple of minutes due to being a weekend. For family dinners, it is a great place.

Prices are reasonable just like in all other branches, staff were fast and hearing us out. All mode of payment like debit, credit card, gpay and cash were available.

Overall a perfect place for tiffin lovers though they offer other north, Chinese, and south indian items. A must try place for pure...

I've visited many A2B restaurants ,and this one comes under the bottom of my ranking. I nearly waited for more than 20 mins to get a table,as it was a weekend . After settling on the table,a waiter came only after 10 mins or so, asked him for chilled water bottle,for that he reacted as if he is bringing the water from some other planet. Finally,when we called him to bring the menu card,so we could order and he behaved in such a rude manner saying wait for some time ,as he is already busy and apart from that he needs to update something in his smartphone given to him, God knows what he said!!! Finally, couldn't sit there further,after this ill-treatment from their waiter ,and of course we had to leave there with hunger. People come to restaurants with their family,not for just eating - it's also to have some good moments . But these kind of uncivilized people like the waiter, they ruin it completely. I would have definitely given a minus rating,if that option was...
