Berrypeckers Multi-cuisine Restaurant Kotagiri — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I came from France to spend some quality time in the town of Kotagiri. With my group of friends, we thought it would be a good idea to go to Berrypeckers. Disclaimer; the worst restaurant experience of my life and the first time I've given a bad review on Google but future customers should know that :

the service is not good at all, we had to ask 5 times and to different waiters if the pizzas were available only to be told by the last of them that they were not. In fact, only half the menu was available. the waiters are totally unprofessional. They don't know their menu. A waitress (although she remained friendly and smiling throughout) inadvertently tried to remove one of our drinks when we hadn't even consumed all of it.

Every item we ordered had a problem!

for drinks: my friend's sweet lassi was a simple curd with sugar the salt lassi was so salty that I had to complain to the waitress; she gave me another one the Virgin Mojito was really bland, with no flavor, 4 mint leaves, not even ice and not a hint of lemonade

for the food: the chicken manchow soup was too spicy (even for my Indian friends who are used to hot spices) the chicken wanton soup was actually all ginger we found a bug in the chicken fried rice (which took an extra 40 minutes to arrive) The only 2 things that were good were the lime juice and the chicken cheese sandwiches (which were a little too peppery but decent to eat).

And to top it all off, we had to wait 15 minutes to pay the bill because the QR code provided to pay wasn't even functional and up to date....

In the end: only 1 star, but at least the decoration...

Our stay at Green Nest Resort was nothing short of amazing! The resort is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by serene greenery, making it the perfect place to unwind.

The food at berrypeckers multi-cuisine restaurant was excellent—every meal was a delight, from their delicious pizzas to the perfectly prepared dishes. The bonfire experience added to the charm of our stay.

A special mention to the incredible staff—Shobha, Sahil, Karveli, and Emili—who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. They were always helpful, warm, and smiling, making us feel truly welcome.
