If you are in Ooty, especially around the Boat House, you should try the coffee or tea at the Bollywood Tea Shop. The tea is freshly brewed (not reheated) and the instant coffee is well made. They also have a stock of all basic necessities and packaged water. The warmth of the father and son team running this place makes this small and cozy shop more special. Bollywood tea shop is a small outlet serving coffee, tea and snack centre near Ooty Lake. There's something for everyone! Service was awesome and Ibrahim was very accommodating. I just want to say that, in addition to the nice food, we had a delightful experience as a customer with Ibrahim.
