Cafe — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

We visited Gallery Cafe towards the end of 2020. We were staying at Rameswaram and looking for good food options and that is when we came across this place. The ambience and food is really good, but what really tops the charts is the hospitality that one would experience. The staff is extremely attentive to customer's needs. The service is fast and food is fresh. Our family (5 members) was taken care of by Amit, one of the staff members at the restaurant and each one of us was given utmost care and attention on our food requirements. Tried this restaurant for Lunch due to reviews from Google. Positive aspects are food quality and taste. Also the place and ambience is quite good, since its part of a big hotel. Negative aspects is either they are totally understaffed or very poor in service totally. Service is so pathetic and non responsive. It took nearly 50 mins to get hot water to drink after multiple reminders. Many food options were not available from the Menu and they take their own sweet time even to take order. We were staying at a nearby hotel and wanted to try this restaurant because of the raving reviews but was immensly dissapointed after seeing their dinner buffet.

The veg cheese balls had absolutely no cheese. They said the chaat was "make your own" 2 mins after I made my own chaat, I saw the servers making it for other people The cusines they had wasn't that great They showcased stacks of pasta, but they don't make you pasta.
