SS RESTAURANT RAMESHWARAM — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Me and my family came to this hotel for having lunch,as we didn't eat anything from the morning because we were travellig, first of all we ordered meals to eat but the hotel's staff said that there was no meals and no rice so then we ordered some fried rice and dall to eat which was not soo good but very less okay to eat,and then the hotel's waiter came up with hand full of meals to serve other people's who were there in that hall, even they came after us they got to eat the meals,the hotels staff was very rude from the begining to us,then we just wanted some rice and plain dall to feed a 9 month old baby,we asked the staff he said that there is nooo!!!!!rice in the hotel even not a single rice,the baby was crying so much,at the same time he was serving meals to the other customer,then we asked thrice if its there rice to feed the kid his answer were the same, from the begining when he knew that we were talking hindi he changed i dont know why but all my family member felt the same way as i am,he was serving meals to his people(tamil people),the bill was about 2300 the moment when we paid the waiter places 3 meals in the dining table .then we asked about it he was speechless and he gave excuses about the steamed rice it was very racist of him,we talked about it to the manager, we didn't even wanted the full meals we just asked some a bowl of rice to feed the baby,he still didn't gave an explanation to us or the manager he was just standing like a deaf in the middle road then the manager took action then he served 3 meals in just 5 minutes we didnt know how, but he served after a fight what a racist and a...

I would go for 'Zero star' if there was such an option. Have never seen such attitude from the staff anywhere else. There can be shortage of staff, but thats never an excuse to keep your guests waiting to get the menu even at the idle hours. We entered the hotel twice - first time it was a bit busy and waiters were passing by here and there, no one offered a glass of water nor the menu. We left after waiting for 10 mins. Lots of guest were waiting for food. The second time, the hotel just had guests on 2 tables and this time, we waited for 20 mins. We asked for menu few times and the staff gave a look and not the menu. Later we had to go to the nearby hotel outside to have something.

This is the worst hotel we have ever been to. Either the management is not interested to run the hotel or the staff is not interested to work there. Whatever the case be, the guests are the one to suffer.

Because of this restaurant, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, in anycase.
