Hotel Mani Iyer — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited with my family members including my 2 & half years grand daughter today at 2 PM for taking lunch at Tiruchendur. There are two floors . In ground floor, they are providing ordinary lunch only at RS 120/- , whereas they are providing special meals in the first floor at RS 250/- with rice, sambar , rasam, vatha kozhambu , kuttu , poriyal , 2 sweets and ice cream. And tiffin. Except me, all are going to have tiffin only. I asked them to provide tiffin at ground floor along with me to have my ordinary lunch. They refused. Majority of us are interested to have tiffin only. So as per their instructions, we are all reached first floor. In the first floor, others ordered for tiffin. I asked them to give me a lunch . They asked me to pay RS 250/- . I again asked them to provide ordinary lunch instead of special meals. They refused. At the age of 62 years, I requested them to provide ordinary lunch in the plate with limited rice only because I wanted to be with my family members especially with my grand daughter. They simply refused. Except me, all of them are ladies only. I didn't want to argue with these foolish staffs those who are not giving respect to our inner feelings. After making the tiffin order in the first floor, I came to ground floor without lift at the age of 62 years and finished my lunch at RS 120/- and again reached first floor to pay their bills through my GPAY only. If they have humanitarianly allowed my lunch in the first floor, I would be very happy with others or vice versa. But they have spoiled our happiness. In the pilgrimage areas, most of their customers are coming from outside only. Lord Muruga is always helping us who ever it may be? But this hotel management blindly refused to share my happiness with my kith & kin today during my lunch cannot be compensated in words. The management employed several ladies in their hotel whereas it refused my honest request without considered my inner feelings. If any customer like an highly intellectual person request them to provide ordinary lunch at first floor with his or her relatives, simply they would provide. At that time, they are refusing it . Then it is okay. But definitely they won't refuse. The amount which I have paid for lunch as well as for tiffin are almost costly compared to other hotels nearby. Main thing is the taste is not good compared to the given high price. The behaviour of staff is also not good because they are not giving respect to human being. Overall, most of customers are taking tiffin along with friends like me at 2 PM and 3 PM , after reading my lengthy felt worries, they won't go to this hotel. Eventhough I am a practising advocate, I never shown my angry upon them because I never go to Tiruchendur to quarrel with them . If they are genuine human being, they would have been allowed me to sit with my family members, irrespective of rules. So , I am really fed up with...

It's a good restaurant with basic veg Menu. The taste of the food iss very good. Mostly on night we get idly, dosa varieties, chapati, Parota. Tea and coffee is also available. The dinner cost is average. In the Lunch menu they have only meals at RS 100. The quality of the food and beverages served are of good taste and quality as compared to other places similar to this. The main branch is on the bus stand and another one is on the way to temple facing the sea. If you want to have very quality and authentic tamil nadu meals or dinner...

The worst ever lunch i have tasted. Very very poor preparation, poor quality. Rates are so much higher than restaurants....
