We went to this new branch with my family for my birthday. The food quantity and service experience made us disappointed. Nobody took orders or even noticed us for 15 minutes. After some delay, we placed the order. There were many staff inside the restaurant but they didn't notice us.

Now coming to the food, we ordered Veg Pulao, Paneer Tikka Masala, Gobi 65, Mushroom Biriyani and meals. Taste wise they were fine but the quantity is very low for the higher price tag. My parents ordered meals and they didn't get payasam. It was mentioned in the menu but it wasn't included despite paying Rs 190 + GST. Usually in other restaurants at this vicinity ( Eg : Aryass Grand, a nearby hotel ) they even provide veg soup for this price point.

The food portion size in Veg Pulao was also low. It was like a quarter portion size and I had to order another dish Mushroom Biriyani due to this reason. Again the food portion in Mushroom Biriyani was also low and similar to Veg Pulao. They didn't give veg kurma for Mushroom Biriyani and when I asked the waiter he denied saying we only provide onion raita and no veg kurma. The hotel needs to work on these issues soon. My friends have also visited this branch a few days back and they had a similar experience. I have been to their Tirunelveli town branch many times since childhood and always had a positive experience so I thought of trying this new KTC Nagar branch for my birthday but it ended up as a disappointing experience.

Our captain, Lakshmanan, was incredibly kind and gave us plenty of great suggestions. He even surprised us with a complimentary meal worth ₹300, which was a lovely gesture.
