Hotel Sri Surya — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I visited many times, main disadvantage is, (1)they never serve the dish within a reasonble time duration, we have to repeatedly remind them, even searching upto kitchen occurs at times, 2) Briyani is tastier is very good one not much spicier though they used to provide very small piece of meat and meal volume is small, we need to order to order two numbers in the place of one briyani for an average person to eat, 3) As far as to me, I nver order wet non veg items as a side dish, since it hardly to find pieces of meat, better to order dry dishes where we could find atleast a few, they are very careful leaving the meat items by limiting the volume 4) during weak ends we couldn hardly find place for parking 5) because it's placed over main road as raodside hotels that too in between crowded traffic, 6) staffs very treating kindly 7) price not high but it's ok for week end visit for middle class people, 8) for vegetarian you could hardly find varieties better to go veg hotels 9)No mirrors at restaurant for refreshing is a bigger flaw even a small hotels had it, now a days hotel following strategy to avoid crowd in rest rooms ,cheap tricks , tourist like found it discomfort to refresh in short 10) other than...

Terrible experience I ever had..first thing the place security said to park the car was full of broken bricks and concrete waste on the ground, even when they have a vacant space there in front of the hotel. when we asked about it he said it is reserved. Few seconds ago we saw a car was parked there. so we ignored him and parked there only, nothing happened or no one came for a reserved parking lot for an hour. After entering the restaurant and seated, two or three hotel staff starts roaming around us. Still, I don't know why. The menu was too expensive. Prices written on the menu was excluding GST. Instead of biryani, we got biryani rice only and instead of chicken noodles we got egg noodles. Food taste was average. Very rude behaviour from the staffs. I saw some sort of discrimination throughout. And the bathroom was unhygienic and didn't have any locking system. It is situated in the Mettupalayam-Coimbatore highway just before entering to Coimbatore city. There are no hotels nearby at least good to see from outside. They are taking advantage of that I think. A very good non-veg hotel in this location. Their selection of menu is really good. Have all varities in mutton,chicken and sea foods from Crab to prawn and some selected fishes. Mutton and chicken briyani tastes good with thick onion raitha and also their non-veg meal is really good with mutton,chicken and fish kulambu accompaning with Rasam and curd. All three non-veg kulambu tastes wise really good with less pieces,with non-veg meal they provide a cup of pichupota chicken kind of dry item and mutton blood poriyal, one veg poriyal and an omblete. Chicken briyani provided with one boiled egg. Coming to starters nethil fry is good, prawn thokku is okay but quantity is less. Chilly fish is good, white rice served very hot that is really nice to have. Grill chicken was the only disappointment.. they took the chicken from the grill so soon with half baked condition.that masala taste also not tht good. Atmosphere inside the hotel is good and nice seating arrangment for both group and 4 people group. Service is good..service lags a little when its crowded and that is understandable.
