Junior Kuppanna Hosur — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Went to this place on Diwali weekend for a lunch with family and relatives.

Location - It's bang right on the highway on the service road on the left-hand side before taking the flyover if you are coming from Attibele side of Bangalore towards Hosur.

Parking - Can park may be 3-4 cars in their parking slot. Have to rely on the space on the service road for parking after that. Did not find valet parking - not sure if it's because of Diwali day

Service and ambience - Single floor restaurant. Overall a neat/clean place, neat restrooms, wash area(has one nice wash basin for kids as well),good air-conditioning - but not so much for ambience other than that I terms of seatings or tables when compared to few other junior kuppana outlets but no complaints overall if we are in the lookout for a nice decent place to have lunch with your family. We had one person catering to more than 4-5 tables at a single point of time and that could have resulted in some of the difficulties we had in getting the attention and quick responses from him to place order or get something else etc., . However, he did manage to do his best despite the handling of multiple tables.

Food - The quality was on the expected lines with regards to food provided in junior kuppana outlets. We ordered Biriyanis(mutton, chicken and plain), Parottas( egg kothu, chicken kothu, egg veechu), Veg meals, Mutton sukka, Fried mushroom, lime soda, rose milk. The biriyani was tasty as always but it could have been served hot. The kothu parottas were good. The mutton sukka was awesome and even kids liked it. Veg meals was ok. One of the egg parottas seemed to be undercooked especially the second order when the crowd started to pick-up. The lime soda was just syrup with no fizz. Rose milk was ok. All in all , the Food was good.

Price - Cost was as always high with Mutton biryani at 305rs , chicken biryani at 275rs. The quantity of biriyani is also not huge when compared to other similiar biriyani shops which have their Biriyanis around this price range. However that's the case with every junior kuppana outlet. A single biriyani will be enough only for 1 adult. The parottas we ordered were costly as well but the kothu parottas quantity was huge and could easily cater to two adults. To me, Junior kuppana for the overall-experience it provides, it is a bit costly.

Overall, an usual good normal junior kuppana outlet where you can take your family and have some good quality food if you are ready to...

First let me use a Tamil term to give the feedback - "Mahaa mattam". Absolutely worst experience. And that too on a Sunday when customers are known to come in large numbers. We went for Sunday lunch at 2 pm. Chicken Biriyani was way too average. No Aroma and taste of Biriyani was missing. We ordered for one fish full meals which included white rice, fish kolambu and fish fry along with poriyal appalam rasam etc. It was a total disaster I must say. Instead of fish kolambu they gave karuvaatu kolambu. The fish was extremely dry and smelly in both the kolambu and the fry. It appeared as if it was refrigerated for weeks together. They gave two boiled eggs for the chicken biriyani. One was rotten and we had to return the same for a better replacement. Finally ordered icecream. There was an insect in the icecream and we highlighted it to the server. We expected they will keep it aside and give us another fresh icecream - which is usually the practice. But they removed the insect and served the same. They added streaks of chocolate sauce so that we could not identify that its the same serving. Such cheap behaviour. Have had great experience in Junior Kuppana outlets in Erode and Mysore. But didnt expect this here. Never...

The food taste is really good. I have no complaints about the quality or quantity.But the waiter's behavior made me to gave one star. Few days ago me and my friend went to Junior kuppanna for Lunch. That time the crowd was very less. Only few people were there and lot of tables were available.We choosed one table and sit there. But the table can be occupied by 4.The waiter came and he was speaking like How many of you ? There is a table where 2 persons can sit you go there. Actually that table was not good and we were not comfortable to go there. I said no we will sit here. There is no crowd also if crowd increases then we will change our table. He got angry and behaved like there are people waiting in the queue for table.Such a worst behavior. We changed our table and then what happened is 2 persons came and they sit on the same table where we sit and had the fight. This time that waiter didn't tell them to sit on any other 2 person's table. My question is Why this partiality? treat all of the people equally. We didn't come to eat in your restaurant for free of cost. Train your staffs to give respect to the customers first. Otherwise it will spoil the...
