Lakshmi Hotels — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Nice hotel. Very cheap cost you can never expect. I had my lunch there on 20/1/19. You can get all veg food, snacks, sweets, ice cream, soft drinks, different types of coffee and tea, soup. Noodles, rotis,rice ect. I suppose to give 5 star rating for this hotel. But an incident met by my near by table customer lead me to rate up to 3 star only. The customer came with family for lunch. He ordered for his all family members. The bearer took the order. After some time the bearer told the customer that curd rice ordered for his kid is unavailable. The customer told the bearer to cancel the order if it is unable to execute all orders because he is not happy to take lunch being his kid in hunger. The bearer refused since the order is in progress. The floor manager came and he also refused to cancel the order. The customer simply asked a question to the manager that how can he process the order with out his approval since only part order is possible. But the floor manager refused to cancel the order and asked the customer to pay for the order under process. The way the floor manager approached the customer is a worst way which I never expected in such a hotel. The customer went out with his family off the way with out taking lunch. Organizing a curd rice is not a big thing to a hotel or a cook. Very simple. This incident tended me to rate the hotel 2star lesser grade. I went for breakfast as well as evening coffee...first impressions are very good....very neat, felt all the good vibes of friendly get together place in that locality..... surrounded by all those chopping meat and strong non vegetarian food...stood a great view of veg hotel/restaurant.....i had walked quite abit so seeing veg restaurant was a bliss....food wise hygienic and well prepared...ordered masala dosae but got paper plain dosae...dont know if thats called masala dosae here...no potato fillings was there...morning coffee was at right spot...perfect balance of decoction, sugar and milk ...it hit the right places both on stomach churning as well as clearing the morning dullness from caffein...evening i thought of getting same dose after work...but the coffee pourer i guess was changed....so got a milky coffee without much punch....overall good experience....by the way for anybody coming from Karnataka mind you that dosaes are thin like hell hear but widely spread ...no red chutney paste inside...jyst potato fillings....and all chutneys were tasty....kudos to hotel team...

A popular veg restaurant and snacks/sweets chain in the city, crowded heavily in the evening. Tasty South Indian food and trademark aroma-rich coffee available here. There is also a bakery store selling their own products mostly South Indian snacks and savories. Their rice mixes and pickles are ok-ish (some are good though). The only thing I don't like is the lack of crowd management; no queue or queue polls for billing and people just push around to get going quickly, making the entire experience terrible (the staff don't bother about it at all as their cash box is filled irrespectively).
