McRennett Cakes Ambattur — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Custom cake has been messed up , staff failed to notice the cake was damaged even though the cake was delivered to them a day before . On the day of the pickup. Staff was arguing that we ordered the broken design when the topping slided off the cake and damaged , had to fight so hard to even make an attempt to fix the cake. And still very damaged and ruined the whole birthday party experience, they are completely helpless , reckless and irresponsible people who wouldn't take any accountability. They want me to take the loss with the broken cake as it can't be fixed anymore and payment to the party is going down the drain and they just don't care about the customer service . Extremely disappointed with the whole experience.

Edit : supervisor refunded the deposit and wanted us to accept the damaged cake , we are getting a non customized cake from a different store at the last minute as we are only left with an hour to take cake pictures for the party . Second update : They refunded the deposit and within themselves supervisor Murali & store in charge Rajeswari decided to keep cake to themselves and not deliver . They were the ones forced & said we should definitely taste their amazing cake irrespective of their chaos of damaging the cake . I am going to take this issue to their corporate office regarding their customer service and how overall they handled the whole situation everyone that's...

This is the worst mcrennet especially for birthday cakes. First of all , they boasted saying that they replaced gems like things with star or some other shapes made exclusive for birthday cakes. Later on when we tasted that exclusive stuff, it was very hard and tasted bad. We would have been happy with gems. Next they said the cake will last only for 30 mins in travel and so we rushed up to our home and placed it in fridge. For all this hassle, when we cut the cake , the knife broke. Such is the hardness of cake. May be they claim something exclusive just for the heck of it. Never ever go for birthday cakes at this mcrennet. My sincere advice. Have fun but think twice before visiting...
