I recently had the pleasure of dining at Muthu Message Hotel, located under the Twin Bridge in Tirunelveli. As a vegetarian, I was thrilled to discover that this hotel serves pure vegetarian cuisine, reminiscent of traditional Jain food.

Good Homely Vegetarian food... No spicy food too...Offered Vazhai Poo Poriyal,Keerai(Palak),Sothi Kuzhambu,(Tirunelveli Trditional Kuzhambu with Ginjer Thovayal)Gobi,Ladies finger are with as extra cost based on requirement..( ₹10 to ₹20) apart from regular Sambar,Vatha Kuzhambu,Rasam,Buttermilk,1poriyal,1kootu...Its not harmed for health and without any fear we can take this VEG food here...Mean while in hot summer Management can make extra arrangement Ceiling fans... We can see the white roof to protect from sun.. earlier 2years back its not there...Now its available.. i gone after long period today to this Mess... Kindly arrange extra Fan that helps to all customers...its small request on behalf off public.... Also they are providing drinking water on Old traditional Copper vessels infront of cash counter.we can here Rama Rama Chanting while we take food...It avoids un necessary discussion when taking food... Over all it should be good experience for Vegetarian...

A small simple vegetarian mess that serves good quality food that tastes great! We visited during lunch and took the INR 120 South Indian lunch option

We were served 1 spinach kootu, an avial, and beans poriyal as sides. There was sambar, rasam, vathal kuzhambhu, and buttermilk along with paapad and pickle

They also serve milk halwa, a sweet variety that is native to Tirunelveli at INR 30, so don't forget to try it! It tastes awesome!

The food was unlimited and the service was top notch - we didn't need to wait even a second for the servings. It's an extremely small space that can accommodate between 8-12 ppl at a time, so during busy periods be ready to wait. Muthu Mess is closed on Sundays

The location is a small lane beneath a flyover, so it's advisable if possible, to park elsewhere & walk or engage an auto to reach Muthu Mess
