Unlike marina , pattinambakkam aka foreshore estate has many sea food meal mess strating from just 50 INR 🔥. . The line is full of fish meal shops crowded in each and every shop🚶. Each and every shop is a favourite of one set of audience like the ones in Marina beach fast foods. . Nagas Mess Kadal Unavagam just located at the start of the beach ( when you come from adyar towards pattinambakkam beach). Jam packed woth crowd from 12:30pm till 2-3pm. This is my first ever try to have a sea food meal in this side.😅 . Our orders( all are parcel) Fish Meals (60 INR): Loaded with rice. More than sufficient for a normal eater 🔥. Accompanied by 1 fish gravy ( Was typically a fishermen style gravy. Hit by masala high and slight pulipu to it. Tasted good ❤️.1 Kootu ( Some bottle guard dish tasted good). 1 Rasam ( Ultimate rasam 🤤 The perfect garlic-fied rasam ) and 1 Butter Milk. . Prawn Masala (100 INR): Tawa fried prawns with loaded masala. Tasted ultimate. The curry leaves and sauted onions elevated the taste 🤤. Some masala was sprinkled on top that was also good. . Ili Poochi( 100 INR): To some who don't know what it is it is called mole crab in English 😅. Looks like a small crab tastes like heaven 🤤. Fully masalafied and tasted juicy-fied. It's a must try since it can be seen only in some seasons 🚶. . Overall a pakka pocket friendly spot for sea food lovers. Meals for 60 INR is totally a bang 💥.Sides quantity was low though but still a worthy one. All sides started from 100 INR. they too gavw chicken and beef but i recommend to try seafood here. Deleted my 5 Star review and making it a 2 Star

The service has become horrible. Just two of us went on a Sunday by 11:45 am and waited till 12 which is their opening time. By then a few others had arrived. The person who took order just kept hot steaming rice on the table and disappeared. It took over 10 mins just to bring fish gravy. Nothing was presented by themselves and had to be followed over 10 times. I ordered Prawn, Nethili fry and Sora Puttu which were good but was given only fish gravy. After a lot of follow up they gave crab gravy which no way tasted like crab but was just a horrible mix of masalas. Then after another 10 mins came the rasam which was also bad.

No veggies were served as they claimed they don’t serve veggies on Sunday. That’s horrible. They charge Rs 60/- for just a plate of white rice. Only the fish gravy was edible and decent.

They lost the charm, the taste and most importantly the service. I am not going there again. So many other shops are there nearby who are better. Try them than loosing hunger, Temper and money to...

Unquestionably an overrated location. Ofcourse, we were aware that this was a roadside restaurant, so don't anticipate a pleasant atmosphere when you go. In my opinion, the food may have tasted nice in the past, but on this occasion, I wasn't satisfied with it. The only other foods I found to taste good were fish gravy, rice, rasam, crab gravy, Sura puttu, and koduva fish fry. The first time they provided prawns, they were prepared correctly, but when they served them again, they combined old and new prawns, and I could taste the bitterness and see the difference in colour. The gentleman sitting next to me shares the same. It will be smelly and disorganised, so if you care about cleanliness, stay away. Pricing are a bit pricey but not excessively so. It would be fantastic if the atmosphere, cleanliness, and food quality were improved and maintained. Influencers on social media merely inflated the reputation of this store, which was unjustified.
