Have visited this place twice so far for dinner, with family. Service is excellent and warm. Ambience is pretty good - enough interesting things to keep children engaged. First time we went on a Saturday and ordered chicken manchow soup, chicken momos, hunan chicken gravy, pepper chicken gravy and egg fried rice and noodles - waiter suggested we go with just two portions of rice/noodles because that may be more than enough and he was right. Had lime soda and fried ice cream for desert. Soup was extremely spicy to extent of burning your taste buds. Other items were good. Momos come with 7 pieces, so dividing it up is a problem. Fried ice cream is a gimmick and not worth it. Second visit was on a week day recently. Veg manchow soup, two egg fried rice/noodles, chilly chicken gravy and panner manchurian gravy. Soup again was very spicy (never had manchow soup like this anywhere else - avoid). Rice and noodles hardly had any eggs. Rice was very dry and noodles very oily with no salt. Got dry chilly chicken instead of gravy - it was somewhat tasty and had several pork pieces too. Paneer gravy was good, but the paneer itself had no taste and felt like plastic. Very disappointed to have spent money, time and traffic nuisance for this visit. Either the cook was different or the standards have gone down in 4 months. Had to drink a full cup of curd to restore my taste - will not be visiting again for...
Read moreHad high hopes based on lots of positive reviews but it was quite a disappointment. Veg wonton soup was quite flavourful and gave some warmth to start with. Roast chilli pork had delectable sauce but the meat was very chewy and unmanageable to eat except the fat pieces. Mushroom and baby corn fry was just average with the maida coating. Sambal prawns was worthless altogether. It had too much fried maida coating and there was little meat inside. Totally insipid. And where was the sambal guys? Then came the shocking mee goreng. Even a roadside eatery could prepare better noodles dish than this one. It had just some semi cooked noodles with chilli powder and oil with some bell peppers. The paneer satay was too hard like a brick and had nothing in it. Totally awful. The fried ice cream was however delicious but served cold as they prepared it early n closed the kitchen. One thing that was consistent across all dishes were the bell peppers, fried maida coating and sauces. Come on! At least do some minimal justice to Chinese cuisine guys. Service was quite welcoming. Ambience was nice too. But the food was...
