Ruchi Kabab — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

It was my friend’s birthday — a night meant for laughter, food, and celebration. We decided to order from Ruchi Kabab, Maduravoyal, trusting the memories of my visit three years ago when this restaurant was new and served amazing food. Through Zomato, we placed an order worth around ₹1000–₹1200, expecting the same old magic.

But when the food arrived, it was nothing like before. The taste was flat, the aroma missing — it felt like the soul of Ruchi Kabab had vanished. Still, we tried to enjoy it until the real twist of the evening unfolded — my friend, who ordered veg fried rice, found a small cockroach on his plate. The atmosphere changed instantly. What was meant to be a happy dinner turned into a scene from a psychological horror movie — everyone froze, disgust took over, and the birthday vibes vanished into silence.

We threw the food straight into the dustbin. Those who had already eaten began feeling uneasy, imagining the worst. That was the last time I ever ordered from Ruchi Kabab. I’ve made a promise — never again. The restaurant that once had promise now only serves disappointment...

Bought tandoori chicken 2 days back. I was shocked when I saw the chicken, as it was in full reddish colour. It is clearly confirmed that this restaurant uses artificial colour to enhance the food appearance and taste which is very very harmful to health as it may cause any kind of heath issue. Even the green chutney is also made through artificial colour.So pls be aware while eating at restaurants.

I have posted the pics where you can see the colour pigmentation stuck in my nails and does not even go after 2 days though proper washing. Pls pls pls my humble request to...

Ruchi Kebab is our go-to place for Tandoori Chicken... All their dishes are fresh, tasty and budget friendly.. The Tandoori is soft and juicy (however they add some food color in it) . Tried their Andhra Chilli Chicken and Dragon Chicken which were equally good and the quantity is very much worth for the price. Their Biryanis' are mild spicy, subtle but that basmati rice is very flavourful... Previously I have tried the Afghani Chicken which is my personal favourite.
