Rukhmani Ammal Vegetarian Restaurant — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

Openly saying that one of the best veg restaurants in Namakkal. We used to eat here on the way to Tanjore every time. But last time we had a worst experience not because of food, because of their water bottle they serve. It tastes like a cheap tap water and while searching that company name Ponnar Shankar in google, its clear that this is a local and non hygiene brand they are using. My question is for a star rank hotel like Rukmani hotel, why they are using local water bottle? At least use Jio released water bottle if cost is what you are considering. Will update the post next month after visiting again.

We went for family lunch . It was getting crowded. First drawback - the person who takes order didn't even smile . Second drawback- When we were having lunch, the person who takes order was trying to get our lunch over and was least bothered to take further order. Because other customers were waiting for the table. If customers are waiting that doesn't mean that whoever is having food have to leave without completing. Poor customer service. Drawback three- He was least worried to tell the menu also. I went to Rukmani Ammal restaurant during my visit to Namakkal after seeing good reviews. But my family and I are so disappointed. The tables were not clean and the servers took a long time to take our order. We ordered soup which tasted like it went bad. However, someone from the kitchen (not the servers/the guys who took orders. The servers outright told us they can’t do anything and will cancel the order) provided us with fresh soup which tasted much better. We also ordered dosa but I was not feeling well after eating it.
