Sai Balaji Bhavan — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I have had food here a couple of times when the hotel was opened it was good and had reasonable price. Last night after a very long time we decided to have dinner there. Food was not so great. Parota was white.. Cooked but little raw.. Kurma lacked salt so less flavor... Kara chutney and sambar was okay but the coconut chutney was not from coconut but just thengai punnaku. For those who don't know what it is... Its the dried coconut pulp after extracting coconut milk or oil. That was disappointing. I understand coconut is 85rs/kg probably 70-75/kg on whole sale but it cost us 95rs/ dosa so I expect a decent side dish. Some of the items were priced differently in bill compared to menu. My tummy felt heavy even after 2hrs of eating. I have a tummy ache from morning.. I haven't had gastric pain in 8months but I got it today... Pretty clear food didn't suit me. Ambience is good service is good food looks clean and delicious but taste average and digest with difficulty. I wouldn't walk...

A decent vegetarian restaurant at a convenient location ideal for take away and dine in as well. Might be a little crowded for dine ins. They have the usual wide variety on their menu like south Indian, North indian and tandoori cuisines. While.ordering for a takeaway it might take sometime for the order to be prepared especially during rush hours. Imo they could lower the prices a little bit as there are restaurants which offer the same dishes for a bit cheaper price. Other than that the taste and quality of the food seems good!

Worst hotel and they're frauds. The stupid cashier don't know how to behave wit customers. He was so rude wen I asked for PAYTM mode of payment. They Displayed a big board outside like Paytm accepted but when you go for payment, they'll say., PAYTM wont work and CARD payment too wont work for less amount. :( They'll ask you to get a cash outside from ATM ! PAAH, horrible service with poor taste of foods. They don't give back change too instead they'll ask you buy extra water bottle or juice for 20 bucks or more to round off the amount. OMG! POOR SERVICE., DISAPPOINTED!!!!
