Krishna Tiffen Room, located at 265 Netaji Rd, Siddhapudur, Coimbatore, is a culinary gem that's known for its delectable offerings, especially the South Indian dinner classics.

The Idly and Ulundhu Vadai here are simply irresistible. The soft, fluffy Idlys and the crispy, flavorful Vadai make for a classic combination that's hard to beat.

If you're in the mood for something unique, the Idiyaappam is a must-try. These delicate rice noodles are a true delight and showcase the kitchen's expertise in South Indian cuisine.

The Rava Roast and Pesaruttu provide a savory twist to your dinner options. The crispy Rava Roast and the flavorful Pesaruttu are a testament to the culinary creativity at Krishna Tiffen Room.

To top off your meal, the Hot Badam Milk is a soothing beverage that's both comforting and delicious.

While the food quality and service are top-notch, it's worth noting that parking facilities might not meet expectations. However, the presence of quality drinking water and clean restroom facilities adds to the overall comfort of your dining experience.

In conclusion, Krishna Tiffen Room in Coimbatore is a dinner haven, offering a variety of South Indian classics that are sure to satisfy your cravings. From the traditional Idly and Vadai to unique options like Idiyaappam and Pesaruttu, this eatery showcases a range of flavors. So, if you're seeking a quick and tasty dinner in Coimbatore, Krishna Tiffen Room should definitely be...

We were here on a Saturday night on the recommendation of friends who swore by its local patronage. Upon arrival, this was clear enough with about 15-20 people in waiting outside. The waiting area is substantial enough but what registers immediately is the temple opposite the restaurant and the rather clean street in which it is situated.

After about 30 minutes or so, we were given a table. It was late in the night for a place like this. As a result, one recurring theme was the non-availability of a few items on the menu. The waiter maintained a sheepish grin throughout when we cajoled (badgered even) him into getting the items served but remained firm. While this was a bit of a con, it wasn't unreasonable that a restaurant would run out of items late into a busy day.

I had the Puttu Kadlai, Kaara Paniyaaram and Set Dosa all of which tasted delicious especially the Puttu. Service was prompt as you'd expect in a place like this. The interiors were decidedly old-fashioned (slightly run-down too) and mess-like which probably contributes to the appeal of the place. The prices were the real highlight with most items in the Rs. 40-60 range (March'17).

Overall, Krishna Tiffin Room is definitely a local treasure of sorts and recommended for anyone looking for South Indian breakfast and...

I've been dining at your restaurant for almost one year. Your hotel has been my go to place for a good home like food experience. I also recently dined at your place. While I was pleased with the quality of the food and the overall service provided by most of your staff, I encountered an issue that I feel needs addressing.

During my recent visit to your restaurant, I experienced rudeness from one of your waiters. While reviewing the menu to place my order, the waiter, an older gentleman, impatiently asked me what I wanted. When I informed him that I would place my order in a minute, he subsequently returned and intentionally ignored my attempts to place my order, both dining and take away. After which I took the issue to the uncle sitting in bill counter. He tried to resolve but yet the waiter was too rude to me infront of the cashier itself. I left the place.

As a frequent visitor to your restaurant, I believe many of your staff may recognize me and can attest to the positive interactions we have had. You may wish to consult with your staff regarding our regular exchanges to gain insight into my usual demeanor and the respect I have always shown towards them.

This experience was disappointing and did not meet the standards of service I have come to expect from your...

Had been here for the 2 time. Once for Breakfast and another for Dinner. Enough no.of seating. Can accommodate at least 100-120 guests at a time. Poori Masala was the best in breakfast...it had the same softness and taste as at home. No maida mixed. Puttu-kadalakari-Tenga Paal (coconut milk) was a surprise and tasted awesome. I've never seen such a thick tenga Paal anywhere else. The best part - they serve 2 types of Chutneys and Sambar. For dinner, we tried Set Dosai Vada curry and Adai-avial. These two again didn't go low with expectations. They were really good. Kurma served with Chapati was different from what other hotels serve and was tasty too. For dinner they place 4 chutneys and a enough sambar on your table. Rose Milk - a big disappointment, as it had too much of Rose essence. Very good hospitality. Things to note: No Credit Card/Debit Card facility. UPI payments available Open car and Bike parking. Car parking would be a bit challenging. It has a Mess kind of an environment, so don't expect much of ambience.

An old little eatery that's buzzing with a diverse crowd even today. Almost all of their offerings are evenly good. Their dosa and idli varieties were good and so did its accompaniments, the sambar, coconut chutney(good) and groundnut chutney(really good). The Ragi puttu was steamed to perfection and just dissolves as you eat. I found the price of items to be fair. Even though it can get crowded often, the seating is either available or the wait time is really short, thanks to their spacious accommodation. It would definitely be a place that we'll visit often purely because of the vibe of the ambience and the taste and quality of their offerings.

Update: October 2021 They gave parcel mentioning sambar, chutney everything specific. This is not a big deal but I highly appreciate their efforts to make a customer feel comfortable. Budget place to have dinner. It's located near to Jaganath Perumal Temple, so will be crowded during Saturdays and esp puratasi month. They serve idyappam, sevai and many dosa varieties. Melaugu pal is a must have especially if u have cold. They serve with 4 types of chutney for dosa and idlis. They don't accept credit or debit card but they accept phonepay or Paytm. They don't have parking for four wheeler so find your own parking in near by streets...
