This temple is located in main city near Gandhi puram. For 100 devotees they are providing food everyday.

History: This temple has got a noble history of establishment. In the early stage, specifically during 1942 some of the devotees started the Pooja Sang in a simple way of worship through Bhajans. During the traditional Mandal Pooja they started the “Ayyappan Vilakku Pooja”. Then they commenced the Sabari Mala Yathra. This custom was regulated properly and continued in every year.

During 1955, the registration under the society act, took place in the name of “THE COIMBATORE SREE AYYAPPA SEVA SANGAM”. Gradually the development was attended with the guidance of devotees.

In the year 1958, a land to construct a temple was purchased at Siddhapudur. The industrialist Sri Narasi Thulasidas aided further in providing a shed at the temple site. The devotees continued their worship in the shed after installing the portrait of Lord Sri Ayyappaswamy. The Bajans and Poojas were conducted in a proper manner.

His Excellency Vishnuram Medhi, the Governor of Tamilnadu laid the foundation stone for the purpose of construction of the Temple. During 1966, Brahma Sri Kanippaiyur Shankaran Nambudhiripad had rendered the sacred chart consisting of the dimensional measures and symmetrical proportions of the structure of the temple. It was thus, implemented and the formations of the temple were done with the strict norms and regulations of the ancient carpentry and building systems.

Swamy Saranam Ayyappa. Famous Temple for pilgrims on VRATA, who, before going to Sabarimala conduct prayers in presence of Family members, Friends, Well-wishers. Temple has Huge halls, where the Priest conducts the puja exactly as prescribed by traditional Temple rituals, uttering the Holy words, the Prayers, filling the coconuts with Ghee and sealing with the Official Seal of the Temple, without which the coconuts would not be permitted in the Sabarimala Temple. The sealed coconut is carried by the pilgrims. They bring another coconut which they burst open near the gate, as a sign of going away & also avoid evil eye. AYYAPPA TEMPLE is an exact Replica, the same wooden structure, with lamps ALL OVER its sides, and, when lit, it is a sight to behold, a sight that the Presiding Diety, SWAMI AYYYAPA deservees. The Temple Entrance has Lord Vinayaka on the left, Lord Hanuman on the right, and Centre is the Entrance to the Main Temple All around the Presiding Diety are Vishnu, Ganapati, RahuKetu snakes, Sivan Temple, Amman, Shivan Sevak, Navgrahas, Lord Muruga. Pooja coupons can be bought from counters in the Temple, An AGE OLD Photo of LORD AYYAPPA SWAMY which, so far, in the past five decades, TENS OF MILLIONS of Pilgrims have touched & bowed down to, and has been carried on Elephants on the yearly tour of the city, when the GOLDEN STATUE of LORD AYYAPPA Is bestowed by the POWER of the LORD in the temple. The LORD is carried on decorated Elephant, accompanied by 4 to 6 other elephants. The procession has a dual responsibility, or, it is meant to given DARSHAN to believers who are unable to Visit the Temple, and secondly, the LORD goes out to BLESS the surrounding areas with Safety Peace, Happiness...

My visit to the sacred Sri Ayyappan Temple at Siddhapudur was truly a soul-soothing and spiritually uplifting experience. Right from the moment I stepped inside the temple premises, I felt enveloped by a sense of calm and devotion that words can hardly describe.

The temple is beautifully maintained, radiating divinity and serenity amidst the bustling city. The main sanctum of Lord Ayyappa, adorned with exquisite decorations and the constant chanting of bhajans, fills the heart with deep devotion and peace. The rituals and poojas are performed with utmost discipline and dedication, making every visit feel sacred and fulfilling.

The temple architecture, though simple, exudes traditional Kerala-style charm, and the surrounding cleanliness adds to the overall divine atmosphere. The priests are very courteous, guiding devotees with devotion and respect.

Offering prayers here fills one with renewed faith, positive energy, and a deep connection with Lord Ayyappa. I left the temple premises with a heart full of blessings and a mind filled with tranquility.

A must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual solace in Coimbatore. Swamiye...

Mild sidhapurdur Ayyappan Temple holds an intrinsic value in my heart. Its tranquillity and utter sense of peace is quite refreshing from our hectic lives. The temple is ancient yet well-preserved, showcasing intricate carvings that depict our rich cultural heritage. The serene ambiance backed by heartfelt religious chants truly sets a divine vibe. I've felt an intimate connection with my spiritual self during my visit. Would certainly recommend for a calming retreat.
