My revisit to the restaurant, approximately a year after my initial experience, has regrettably not led to an improvement in my perception. Initially awarding them a two-star rating, my recent visit compels me to downgrade it to a single star, reflecting my continued dissatisfaction. Over priced and pathetic quality.
The Chicken Fried Rice, a dish that should exemplify the mastery of flavor and texture, disappoints on multiple fronts. The pervasive off-putting taste permeates the dish, leaving one to question the freshness of the chicken. The texture further exacerbates the issue, with the poultry manifesting a dry and tough consistency, indicating potential mishandling or inadequate cooking techniques.
The assortment of curries fails to redeem the overall culinary experience. Rather than delivering a harmonious blend of spices, these dishes present an unusual and disconcerting flavor profile. The Biryani, touted as a centerpiece, falls short of expectations, resembling plain rice interspersed with a scant number of uninspiring chicken pieces. Such a lackluster interpretation of a classic dish only deepens the sense of disappointment.
Moving on to the starters, the fundamental understanding of spice nuances appears to elude the culinary team. The discernment between spice and chili is crucial, yet the execution falters, resulting in a bland offering that fails to ignite the taste buds. The addition of raw chilies upon requesting spicy food indicates a lack of finesse and customization in meeting patrons' preferences.
The progression from a two-star to a single-star rating reflects the restaurant's apparent stagnation in addressing the concerns raised earlier. It is disheartening to witness a lack of discernible improvement over the course of a year, reinforcing the notion that customer feedback may not be given the earnest consideration it deserves.
Suggestions for enhancement abound. A reassessment of ingredient quality, particularly the freshness of meat, is imperative. Culinary refinement should extend to the artful blending of spices in curries and the meticulous preparation of dishes like Biryani. Training the kitchen staff to discern the subtleties of spice levels and delivering a personalized dining experience would contribute significantly to overall customer satisfaction.
In conclusion, my recent experience at the restaurant reaffirms the need for a reevaluation of its culinary offerings and operational processes. The downgrade from two to one star underscores the sustained disappointment and serves as a plea for the establishment to revisit its commitment to culinary excellence and customer...
Read moreWorst experience that I ever had. Yesterday I have ordered three veg family packs worth 660/- each. I opened the pack at home and it consists of just biryani rice (almost it is just like white rice) and not included with any of the vegetable ingredients. They have given a separate pack of wet Manchuria as a mixing to biryani rice but this is not at all an acceptable approach and we don't call it as a veg biryani. Everyone knows what veg biryani is and what it consists of. But with their cheeting mentality, they just provided a white biryani rice packet and they looted 1980/- a total bill value for 3 veg family packs. Worst fellows and worst restaurant that I ever see.
Dear friends, don't order veg family packs from this restaurant. We do not know what is inside the pack. The moment when we open and realize, we would be in middle of lunch/dinner with our family friends and guests. And we know how awkward and embarassing it is. These dirty minds do not know all these things. They simply need money. So, don't ever order family packs from this restaurant. Thank you.
Actually I am from Hyderabad and came to Khammam to meet family friends on this festival. Two years ago I have ordered from this restaurant and it was good at that time. But this time most of our well wishers says don't go for it as the graph of this restaurant is coming down day by day. But I haven't heard their voice and ordered blindly and I am realizing now.
Dear restaurant management team, cheeting with customers and specially with food related aspects may costs you a lot in one fine day. Thank you.
Dear restaurant management team, Thanks for your response. During the order time, I have double checked with take away person that I need vegetable biryani with all ingredients. I know box quantity is little smaller, hence I went with family pack with a same product. By the way the take away person confirmed that i will get the veg biryani with all ingredients. Please check with take away person/s and guide them appropriately.
I don't know who gave this special biryani idea. Trust me no vegetarian person likes it and you definitely see these kind of reviews once you deliver special biryanis in this way just with rice.
I would recommend you to please revisit your menu card by considering appropriate feedback from the majority of vegetarian customers on this special veg biryani section. And please guide the take away team, seems like they are not well trained in explaining the proper details...
Read moreOn makar sankaranthi, I was on some work to khammam. Some suggested other restaurants, mostly were closed due to festival. We three friends reached this restaurant & it was open for business as usual.
KAVERI FAMILY RESTAURANT is located on the main road. The family restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. Lifts or stairs can be taken to reach. The same building also has a bar & restaurant on the 4th floor.
As I entered the restaurant I could see a big hall with all the tables neatly laid out & mostly the tables were already full with patrons. I could see lot of waiters, supervisors on the floor.
As we entered we were engaged by them & shown a table. The ambience of the hall was okay but not very exciting or enticing. The waiters quickly bought us the menu & gave it to us. As we were in a hurry to catch a train. We quickly ordered some kadai paneer & butter nons, were helped by the supervisor with spicy bit about Currys. Friends went to freshenup in washroom.
They quickly laid new plates, napkins & some cutlery on table. Order was quickly bought & served hot & spicy with butter nons. The kadai paneer curry was spicy, the paneer pieces were very succulent & seems locally made not from some branded dairy. The quantity was just enough for 3 butter nons.
In few minutes we ordered special veg biryani which was also bought quickly & served hot. The rice was very long, cooked well & tasted nice. Not very spicy at all. Also being special veg biryani it came with veg munchuriya pieces. Veg munchuriya pieces were very soft & nice. We were also given some gravy (plain not at all spicy) & raitha with special veg biryani. The quantity served was good enough.
At the end we ordered curd rice which was bought & served nicely. The curd was very tasty & came with all kind of fruits on the top with some lime pickle. The quantity was good enough.
With top two orders we were served with lime & onion salad.
OVERALL ITS A FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE WITH FOOD SERVED & THE SERVICE PROVIDED. I HAVE NEVER SEEN SO MANY STAFF ON THE FLOOR IN ANY HOTEL I VISITED.
I hope they just improve the ambience & bring some zing & excitement of visiting the restaurant.
They have limted...
