I'm writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at the KFC Sun City branch in Hyderabad. Today, around 7 pm, I ordered chicken pieces, strips, and wings through the KFC app for takeaway. Although the order was delivered promptly within 15 minutes, the quality of the food was unacceptable.
The chicken was stale, overly salty, and of poor quality. Given that I paid for the food, I expect a certain standard to be maintained. Unfortunately, the experience was disgusting, and I was shocked by the cheap quality of the food.
I don't want a refund or an apology. Instead, I want to emphasize that KFC needs to take immediate action to improve its quality standards. The market in India, especially in Hyderabad, is becoming increasingly competitive, with new options emerging. If KFC doesn't take corrective measures, it risks losing its market share.
In fact, I'd prefer to travel an extra 20 kilometers to Albaik, ice magic, california burrito etc, because their food quality is slightly better. To retain customers like me, KFC needs to focus on serving high-quality food at its restaurants.

Read moreI had a terrible experience today 16 Sep 2022 at this KFC, Suncity, Hyderabad. Ordered 2 veg zingers and I was asked to wait for 15 mins. They updated the order was ready within 5 minutes and I was surprised with the pace but when I went to the desk to collect my order I was asked to wait for 10 more minutes. I kept waiting there for 30 minutes and they took atleast 10 new orders and delivered before me. After 10 minutes I was asked to wait another 5 minutes and they kept extending the time every 5 minutes. After 30 minutes when I asked seriously to cancel the order they said the veg zingers are over and I was asked to wait further but refused to cancel the order. I asked them to have the burgers when they are ready and walked out. I feel Google should introduce zero stars as well. Definitely not expected from KFC!...
