Hands down one of the best seafood restaurants I have been to. I am a seafood longer and have been to many, across multiple Indian states.

Run by a small family, they make amazing, homely and authentic Maharashtrian style seafood. We had the bombil fry and pomfret thali. The spice, marination is just right, and the fish fried superbly, yet retaining its moisture.

The curry also tasted great, without being too spicy or sour.

If you ask one thing I will miss about Thane, that would be Balkum Katta. Since I started getting food from here, I stopped ordering from anywhere else. Balkum Katta is run by a family and it is providing home quality food. They have limited menu, but whatever they provide is freshly and neatly prepared. Tastewise it is also good. Many a times when I order something, they asked me to wait as they would be preparing it. What could be better then a freshly prepared food?
