Breakfast experience …

Out of huge interest , today decided to visit this place at 7 am … started my journey reached their spot at safe time of 0806 am

….when I entered the restaurant , nobody was inside …i got a bit scared … I went to the small tugged in rest room …then made a sound Sir , sir , sir ….then i was about to return … suddenly one staff turned up ..i was a bit relieved … She said sir , Breakfast fill up panrathukku oru 15 minutes Aagum … ok i came out

I waited , at the outside the ground floor corridor of the shop by name Lemon …when it was 0821 , I decided to go up , hoping for the breakfast to be ready …

0822 Reached back the restaurant one again ….again one staff turned up and told 5 minutesla ready aahidum …waited up to 0838 am …so 16 minutes waited again …

at 0834 hrs , they put Sambhar , Kesari , plain idli etc …i got back my breath …

0840 hrs. My plate got filled with idli , mini oothappam , chutney ( two varieties ) , sambhar , Kesari , masala etc …

Idli was soft and size was small .. i could not feel like taking more than two idlies …then started taking mini oothappam …that two mini oothappam went on well with sambhar …

0847 hrs .. Uppuma ( they called it as kitchadi ) and pepper idli pieces came …that uppuma was semi solid …i waited for it to become bit solid … it was okeyish … pepper idli did not impress me much ...

0857 hrs .. Poori arrived …the staff directly came to the table and served two poories … poori were somewhat okey with masala …

I could never see the vadai ...

0908 hrs

Coffee came directly to my table …Coffee was average …

Then i had a small discussion with that staff gentleman … he had very polite discussion with me … i told him , that ideally the breakfast can start at 0730 hrs and it can proceed up to 0930 hrs … He said many people reach the restaurant at 9 am only , so they had to plan accordingly ,,, and hence they start the BF buffet , around 9 am only … I said , in that case , they should kindly put a info board telling the time clearly …

He also informed about scarcity / busy schedule of their masters ( Chefs ) ... …more over masters ( Chefs ) has to handle the many briyani orders for Nonbu ..( நோன்பு )... He said they have one plus one biriyani concession scheme going on now ...

I said okey and said best wishes …

They collected Rs 83 … ( Rs 79 plus taxes ) ..paid by GPay …

I wished them from my inner heart …they should definitely increase the staff and strategically plan for the successful breakfast buffet program ….

All through today's breakfast program , it was திக் திக் moments for me ... … எந்த நேரத்துல எந்த ஐட்டம் வரும்னு திக்...

We had a nice time there.. Their service is awesome.. Its a best place for photography and all...Nice to see restaurant if in the area. The place was very small.. Nice interior. You will feel like you are on the Carriage. A very well maintained, good staff, nice ambiance. Cost wise, it is bit high but it is worth it. Taste of the food is really good. Welcome drink was awesome.. Soup was good, starters are good. Main course was fantastic. They have variety of Chinese foods. Lot of Non-veg choices were there instead of Veg. On Veg, it doesn't attract much. Overall it was a different experience.

I have already been to Charcoal Fusion with my friends for an Ala-carte dinner. The food was good so decided to give it a shot for the Buffet hoping it to be good. But unfortunately, I was wrong. We had pre-booked the table based on the slots provided by the restaurant. We went in our allocated slot but most of the buffet items were empty. They took quite a long time to refill. I guess they had overbooked and was really struggling to manage. We had to keep asking for food to be refilled which was the least I expected that too on a New Years day. If they could not manage with a buffet they shouldn't have organized one in the first place. Very lethargic workers and no importance to the customer. The soup was not hot. The fish was not cooked well. Overall it made me think that I could have taken Ala-carte instead of buffet. Not sure if I'll go in there...

Short answer: The worst hotel experience in my life. I got scammed totally. Please don't waste your money there.

Long answer: They cheated in the name of unlimited Buffet. They sent me the menu for the weekend. But honestly not even a single dish mentioned in the menu were given to me. They told me all those dishes were the alternatives. The taste if just normal(any hotel can bring that taste easily). And on top of that, when we asked for a chicken lollipop 3rd round, they told that's over. The buffet experience is so tragic and feels totally like they looted our money. Because we paid 2300rs and forced to eat whatever they brought to the table. We could have ate somewhere a lot of variety dishes with that money.

After this experience on reading a lot of online reviews, I understood why that hotel is always empty and full of bad reviews.

Never went to such hotel of cheap tactics. Please focus on keeping up with your...
