EZHAM SUVAI — Restaurant in Tiruchirappalli

This restaurant seem to have good review and I was motivated to check it out. It was just normal preparation of food items. Nothing out of the world. Appalam was not crispy! Was like a piece of edible cloth. Most annoying was the environment. It was poorly lit. A food place should have good lighting. I could not tell which one was the kootu and which one was sambar. Had to do a dip test taste before helping myself. Will be good if the restaurant invests in good lighting system to know what their customers are eating. Furthermore,I ordered South Indian meal but was not served ghee and podi. Had to wait for the waiter's attention to ask for the podi and ghee. Is it a customers' responsibility to wait in this restaurant?I understand it can get busy during lunch time but paying attention to every customer...

This is my second review. Idli sambar wasn't authentic and tasty. Mixing rice flour with water for thickening sambar. The kurma with idiyapam was awful. Since number of customers increasing they are not bothered about quality. Restaurant owner please cut off south Indian dishes if it is not provided with quality inspite of charging higher rates.

Not worth for one star also. Online order through zomato. I recieved naan which is tawa fried instead of making in tandoori method. Size too small. Not soft.Waste of money. Many online orders through zomato, the restaurants cheat like this only. All business has become cheating business nowadays. ...

A very friendly hotel that caters to taste buds, especially when looking forward for a heart filing meal.

The ambience is pleasant. The team is fun and energetic. Patient enough to explain anything asked for. Attentive without being intrusive.

The menu comprises of not only the usuals of restaurants around the area, but also some fusion dishes, bringing home the taste of foreign.

Though I could never vouch for the authenticity of taste, it really tastes great and fills heart as well as the tummy.
