Mayil Traffic Jam — Restaurant in Tiruchirappalli

I recently visited my favorite childhood restaurant after a long time, and I was pleased to see that it has expanded significantly with more seating capacity. This is a big relief as there are no queues or waiting times, and a major problem has been resolved. I am happy for them.

We arrived at 11 pm, which was almost closing time. Unfortunately, all chicken items were sold out, and I missed having my favorite pepper chicken dish.

What makes this place so special is their three types of gravy: spicy, extra spicy, and spicy max. The colors of the gravies match the level of spiciness: yellow, orange, and red. The parotta are the same as ever, and the taste and texture are still top-notch. I tried their parotta and egg lappa, and they were both delicious.

Cleanliness is one of my biggest concerns, and although the place has undergone many changes, the cleanliness standards have remained the same as before, which is not good

Really an amazing hotel. I can even give 10 stars if available for their dishes. I have ordered Parotta, Chicken Fry and a Kulambu Tikka. It's less expensive and they gave a more quantity than expected and especially their 3 gravies are excellent and awesome. If you ever been to Trichy it is a must must try hotel. But the only drawback is that the ambience and the place. It is too small to sit and eat. I have been there around 10pm but still the hotel is full and I have to wait for nearly 5mins to get a single seat. If you been there in a group you have to wait for minimum 10mins. No parking facilities available better to take two wheelers to that hotel, if you take four wheelers you have to seek parking lot for a long time because it's a small street. Different variety of non-veg available all are same rate. The quality and quantity is fine. Taste is good as per my friend suggestion.

This hotel will open only in evening time. Which is so wired.

Giving one star because there is no proper seating arrangement and need to wait for long time. There is no option for vegetarian. They are not accepting digital payment, if you guys going have enough cash. We need to take the plate after eating, personally I don't like this. There is no proper hand wash area. Lack of parking space, you need to park your vehicle before three to four street before and then you need to reach this hotel.

Parotta is good and there is no chutney option. I can't comment on non vegetarian dish since I never taste it. They are providing dosa but it looks so black coz they keep dosa in tava...
