RAAM Restaurant, New initiative in Thillai Nagar Trichy ..
The best part is the restaurant is in an unimaginably calm, serene atmosphere in the 80 feet Road, beyond 10th Cross West … Nice to see this set up in the Hussle Bustle Thillai Nagar area . Initially could not find this spot in Google Maps , But reached through the address ..
They have two types of seating arrangement .. Outdoor and Indoor ..
Outdoor was a with a unique concept , with unique coloured floors ..
We initially sat down in out door set up , then shifted to Indoor restaurant out of interest …
Now coming to the point, this is Both Veg and NV place ... We went for Starters, Tandoori Rotis ,Lemon Drink, Noodles …
Starters ..
Veg Manchoorian Ball … Rs 150 .. Literally we all enjoyed … Brilliant stuff … It suitably spiced … We three visited .. We all enjoyed it …
Veg Baby Corn Fry .. Its almost dry types .. Sometimes , I used to love Semigravy … The Sauce/Chutney that came with this stuff was brilliant …
Butter Roti … Surprisingly and luckily we had Tandoori Butter Rotis .. One Butter Roti costs Rs 40 .. they offer two pieces ( cut in to two ) .. I think worth it .. The Rotis were soft.
I was informed Phulka Rotis were Soft .
Kadaai Paneer was decent with cut panneer pieces .. I desire the Paneer pieces must have been more softer … ( வாயில போட்டா கரையனும் ) .. But still we found it okeyish to Good. One plate Kadaai Panneer Rs 170 …
I had one Veg Noodles .. It was Soft and tasty … No complaints … Actually I always will like Veg Noodles in softer consistency.
Fresh Lemon Soda …. Rs 40 … Ideally I would have loved it served chilled .. is that possible .. I think in few places , they give chilled content … Still I loved this ..
Overall this is clam and quiet place , I think good for family gatherings , beyond the hussle buzzles of thillai nagar set up ..
Overall satisfied ..
Total Bill amount Rs 840 ..
Paid through UPI G Pay ..
Please mind for...
Read moreRam restaurant located Thillai Ganga nagar in Trichy , I went for a surprise visit of a birthday of my relationship. Concept of restaurant theme is good , But small place for the theme and the location for the public to visit and park their vehicle . This type of concept generally planned on outskirts of city , but this on is within city anywhere to reach half an hour drive in Trichy . Literally no parking for customers , we need to park on road , good thing is road is not that busy so you can park on sides of road with no issues and I have seen neighbours in pally so that you can park along. I went on weekend it is really crowded to that they cannot handle customers with proper care though their hospitality is good . Food is average but no complaints. It is a theme restaurant for us to celebrate party /birthday / personal party . Got a mini hall, private hall , a hut may be 4 and a common small dining area with few ( around 8) dining tables to have food. All good except average food , cannot handle customers in peak load, deteriorating maintenance of property . I think owner getting response more than expected on week end and not bother to address customer care. It’s alarming for him it doesn’t address the issue otherwise ONE TIME VISIT , will enjoy . Avoid week end for the...
Read moreI recently visited Raam Restaurant, and I have to say, it was a disappointing experience from start to finish.
First off, the outdoor dining ambience was nothing like what you see in the Instagram reels or what influencers portray. It was very simple and lacked any water decorations or charm. I was expecting a vibrant atmosphere, but instead, it felt quite plain and uninviting.
Secondly, if you're looking for prompt service, I wouldn't recommend this place. We waited an eternity for our food, to the point where we almost decided to cancel our order. It was surprising, especially since the restaurant wasn't even crowded. The long wait was frustrating and made the experience even worse.
Now, let's talk about the food. Taste-wise, there was nothing wow about it. Everything was overly salty and spicy. I ordered the Kari Dosa, and to my dismay, it looked and tasted more like an egg dosa. The Uthappam was supposed to be thick and fluffy, but it was disappointingly slim. We also tried some non-veg items, and they were just as bad—everything was excessively salty and spicy.
Overall, it’s a big no from me. The long wait was not worth it, and the taste was very disappointing. I won’t be visiting Raam...
