Great sides and service, pity about the price.

Foodaholic - A newly opened fusion restaurant on the ever hustled OMR, has been the talk in and around the nearby techies. Have been here thrice, and the taste of the food and the service never failed to impress me. (+++ Concatenating all my visits in a single review)

Came for lunch and also been here for dinner. We loved our Indo - Chinese fusion starter which were amazing with lots of flavour, very innovative and impressive for a fusion restaurant.

The service was good 👌, and the the food preparation gets delayed with respect to crowd (we got one of our starters during dessert 😤)

❤️ This place has a good appearance and looks inviting, with plenty of parking space right in front. We tried out both the Chinese and a few Indian vegetarian and non veg starters. They were tasty and satisfying. The place looks clean and good for family visits and is one of the up scale restaurants in OMR locality.

💲💲💲💲/5 On the other side, their prices are expensive. Which makes us doubt trying many dishes. I wouldn't tell that they are the expensive, but when you compare with restaurants of their sort, they are expensive and I personally had a word with the management as well. This also takes us to a point of luxury dining, which foodaholic isn't.

The food definitely turns out to be the best,and you do get discounts and offers. Pre booking options are available.

As on 3rd May 2023 - I didn't even imagine in the first place that I would be giving a negative review for Foodaholic. Its our go to place all the time. The food is good, ambience is good. The staffs are worst, service is worst. We asked for empty glasses for the kids and we had to wait for 15 mins. When we checked they said glasses are not washed.. seriously guys !!!! Not washed..that was arrogant. Hardly only few tables were occupied. Then we ordered food which came so so delayed. We didn't raise issues at all. We were patiently waiting after checking with them continuously. Then we ordered a scoop of ice cream. Again 15 mins. Kid slept off. The guy answered we have to attend to all customers and Not just you. Horrible words!!! Guys remember you kept begging us for good reviews everytime we came in. In fact I would say you enforced is to give good Google reviews. We didn't have a problem. Now I had bad experience and so am giving worst review. So live with that!

Oh yes!! I am not the only customer you have. This is the exact words of the staff. That's true. An not giving this review for your improvement. I am logging this worst moment for my satisfaction. Good luck for ignoring the negative comments.

Pls note that we want to have fun and be relaxed at restaurants and NOT to face pathetic behaviour from the staffs. Its ok even if the food is not good sometimes. But good service is always expected...

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!

We went to Foodaholic (Curious Food Pvt Ltd) and what we experienced was shocking and unacceptable.

While eating chicken fried rice, we found a fried house fly inside the food (image attached). When we complained to the manager, Mr. Rathur, he was completely unfazed. His casual response was, “Was it removed from the bill? What else can I do?” When we asked about compensation, he bluntly said, “Just don’t pay for that dish.”

Useless resturant !!

This shows their complete disregard for basic hygiene and customer safety.

Let’s talk about their so-called “premium” pricing:

They charge ₹30 per litre for their own brand of water, while established premium water brands charge around ₹20.

Their food prices are also set at premium rates, but the quality and standards are shockingly poor.

What we saw:

No hygiene standards in the kitchen

Untrained and indifferent staff

No apology, accountability, or corrective action

For Curious Food Pvt Ltd, the brand’s worth clearly stops at ₹205.20 — the amount they waived off our bill for serving contaminated food.

This is not just disappointing, it’s dangerous. Customers deserve better, and the arrogant attitude of the management makes it worse.

I will also be filing a formal complaint with the FSSAI against them for compromising food safety.
