Geetham Veg Restaurant — Restaurant in Tiruporur

I have never given a negative review for any business so far, but this visit of mine to the restaurant for a Sunday breakfast really spoilt my weekend mood . I came in with my elderly parents and managed to get a seat on my own in the non AC area, since the AC seats were full, there was no courtesy from any of the waiters to arrange table for a customer We ordered our breakfast and we wanted to parcel some food home as well, the waiter without any respect denied to take our parcel order and asked me to pay at billing and proceed to take away area and collect the food , I followed his instructions too I quietly observed the AC dining area where parcels were flying to the table , and then I understood the discrepancy this restaurant has for people VIP treatment is given for people seated in AC and disrespect for customers in non AC area ,they fail to understand that customers are seated in the non AC area out of compulsion due to small seating area in AC. I took up the matter to the manager and his response was naive too.

Matter is simple :

A hand written board saying we won't entertain parcel on the table during weekends for customers who dine in would have solved the matter , I wouldn't have entered the restaurant to get disrespected , I would have chosen Ananda Bhavan which has a better handling of customers Sorry to say with this attitude in hospitality industry I will never step into this restaurant which has no respect and politeness towards customers. Every customer is a VIP, I need not explain who I am to get respected You guys have a very wrong hospitality...

The renowned Sangeetha now turned to Geetham is one of the few pure veg spots along the ECR. Be it brekkie, lunch, or dinner, this place always flows with crowds not just because of the lack of spots along the way but also because of their consistency. But, on this occasion, they hardly had anything on their menu to serve. Despite the time frame, a lot of their dishes weren't available. DISAPPOINTMENT! 🙄

Thayir vadai - Classic soft vada immersed and soaked in curd; their boondi which goes along with every scoop was good👍 Kadai paneer with veg stuffed naan - The Naan was soft and tummy-filling while the paneer too was in the right consistency to go with, not spicy yet kicky gravy😊 Paneer satay - Not a satay; typical paneer skewered in Indian marinade and loads of sauces, MEH!!😑 North Indian thali - Contemporary meal plate loaded with soup, rotis, and lassi, this thali was better and their lassi, WOW, should've had refills for the same😊 South Indian meals - Signature veg meals with veggies, spicy gravies with rice; their buttermilk is something to go after time and again😊

Not much to complain regarding the ambiance. They have decent parking space along the main road with both indoor and outdoor seating space. Their prices are always moderate which makes this place the favorite spot for many. The service could be a lot better and especially during peak hours,...

I am writing to bring to your attention a highly disappointing experience I had with your restaurant on [6/12/2024]. I had ordered six sets of idly while staying at Umino Resort, looking forward to enjoying a pleasant meal during my holiday. Unfortunately, the experience fell far below expectations.

Upon opening the parcel, I noticed that the three types of chutneys provided (coconut, red chutney, and mint) were spoiled. Concerned about the quality, I immediately called your restaurant at 8:46 PM to report the issue. However, the response from your staff was deeply unsatisfactory.

I was informed that the manager was out on a delivery and would call me back within 15 minutes. Despite waiting, I did not receive any follow-up and had to call again at 10:30 PM. During this call, the staff member suggested that I place a new order to receive fresh chutneys. This response not only failed to address my original concern but also made me feel disregarded as a customer.

The entire experience was frustrating, and I feel let down both by the quality of the food and the lack of appropriate customer service. I sincerely hope that you take this feedback seriously and ensure that such issues are addressed promptly in the future to maintain...
