One of the best veg hotels in Thiruporur which is very close to the Murugan temple. It's a pretty straightforward tiffin place serving food in a banana leaf, you do get the typical Tamil Nadu town experience. Down to earth hotel staff with very hygienic food prepared and a well maintained ambience. The filter coffee was particularly good as well, so was the parota kurma and masala dosa.

In this Guru hotel pure Vegiterian. We went to murugan temple morning after saw dharsan we had breakfast in this guru hotel. Everthing is nice. Economy prices. We had rava dosa, pongal, puri and coffee. Everthing nice. Good service shambar is good. Vada also gave very hot crispy good tase.

Quite good restaurant close to Thiruporur Murugan temple in a pleasant location, facing the temple pushkarini.

They serve all kinds of vegetarian dishes starting from breakfast in the morning, veg meals for the lunch, tiffin items such as idlis, dosas, chapati, parotta along with chinese dishes in the evening.

The rates are quite affordable. They serve ample chutneys and sambar.

This is a veg restaurant near temple tank. We go here for breakfast/dinner whenever visiting the temple recently on 1/6/25. My recent observation is, this location is negative (next to hair cutting activity) and poor maintainance. There is no regular pest control done and you will find cockroaches moving. If looking for cleanliness/hygiene better avoid this place. The problem is that there is no better alternative in...
