Travelled to temple on 01st May and first time to Tiruporur Murugan Temple. Was curious to find a good restaurant for breakfast and found this to be new one with few good reviews. I knew this is not upscale and I always look for these off chain ones as some of them will be gem. But this one disappointed us, we went at around 9:30am and ordered Pongal for kid - after that when I started asking for dosa they said that there was a big order hence they have only Pongal and idly. By this time Pongal was delivered on plate and we did not want to return it as the kid was hungry. We all decided to try Pongal and it was not tasting like Pongal at all - felt too much of dalda. Only Saviour was Medu Vada which tasted good. 5 vada and 3 Pongal costed well within 200rs. So overall it's good for economy but not that great on taste.
