Time Headquarters — Restaurant in Ujjain

The service was not satisfactory, when we have entered it is being informed that the waiting time is 20 min so we have decided to wait for soen time . After 20 min the manager has informed that it will take another 5-10 min..& finally we got the seat after multiple follow up in 45 min. We have already informed that we have 2 kids with us & one of them is 5 month old so we request them to serve the food on time ...They have taken taken 15 min to serve evn Papad & salad ,& 20 min for starter... After seeing there service we have placed main course order before having starters so that we will get the main course in time ..but they have taken another 25 min to serve the main course. We have entered in @ 9 pm , waiting time - 45 min , 9:45pm we got the table , after placing order 15-20 min for starters (very few items) , another 20-25 min to ge the main course & finally completed our dinner at 11 pm. . It was completely spoilled the happiness on my birthday . Food was ok, after complaining about services they had speed up ..but in service sector customer service should be the priority . The silly reason, what they have given was that "we are facing system issue" . My point is system & automation is there for improving services & delivery , it is not to panic the customer to that extend . Mean while we got the food the baby started crying & my sister have to engage to pacify him. Our plan for 1 hr was converted into 2 hrs becoz of mismanagement of staffs. If restaurant had system issue they can use mobile or any staff to manage the gap & give good service to customers . . I m completely disappointed by the service. The interior was good , food was okay but at the end it was not good...

15 years in Delhi and I've seen Ujjain transform. The growth is mind-blowing, but what's truly caught my attention is the food scene! 🤯 So many new places have popped up, and now that I'm back for good, I'm on a mission to taste it all.

First stop: the hyped Times Headquarters (THQ) @time.headquarters right across from the iconic Tower in Freegunj. Here's the lowdown:

Vibe: 👍 Hip, trendy, party-perfect. The outdoor seating with Tower view is a major win.

Service: 👎 Our waiter was in a daze, another had to step in. We were weirdly told not to sit outside due to "possible" rain... while others were enjoying the view. 🤨

Food (Chinese): Mixed bag...

Manchurian Fried Rice: 👌 Flavorful, crispy, delicious manchurian balls.

Hakka Noodles: 😐 Bland, wet, under-seasoned. Major disappointment.

Spring Rolls: 🤷‍♀️ Crispy ends, oily and soggy middle.

Hurricane Hulk drink: 🍹 Looked cool, tasted like overly sweet lemonade. Fresh Lime Soda was a safer bet.

Food (Indian): 🙌 The Veg Patiyala we took home was a HIT!

THQ is a mixed bag. Go for the view, may be skip the Chinese. I'll be back to try their Italian and Continental dishes, so stay tuned! 🍴

After visiting Narangi Bar & Lounge, we went to Time Headquarters Restaurant in Ujjain. This rooftop restaurant offers a fantastic view of a busy crossroads, which felt great to watch from the top while having dinner. The restaurant features a small pool and various seating options including lounge-like, indoor, outdoor, and open-sky seating. There’s also an elevated section on the terrace that provides a great view of the crossroads below, creating a pleasant atmosphere.

For atmosphere, I would rate it five stars—it’s really a great spot to unwind and enjoy the view of the crossroads. The service was good, though we visited close to closing time, with the last order being around 11:30 PM. I would rate the service four stars. The food was also good, deserving of four stars as well. The restaurant seems family-friendly, as we noticed many families dining there.

One downside is that they don’t serve drinks, so we had to visit Narangi Bar & Lounge for that. Despite this, Time Headquarters Restaurant is a great place for a relaxed and enjoyable dining...
