CHAIWALA — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Very Sketchy place, first impression was people were lying down/ sleeping on the sofa, there's wasn't any menu available on the table until we asked for it, no one came to take the order.

There's only one AC in the entire outlet with kitchen in the same room in this hot summer which makes the cafe feel like a tandoor and only place which felt good was infront of that single AC.

Service was very lethargic, they took half an hour just to provide a sandwich and a tea, everything felt unorganised and at first as soon as we enter the cafe it wasn't a good experience/impression watching people lying down and also both the servers/attendants didn't even bother to talk to the customer even after seeing us, there wasn't anyone on the counter either as they were busy chatting with each other outside the counter.

Adrak and Elaichi Tea was just ok and the Cheese sandwich had a strong taste of Vinegar which doesn't taste good, as it gave a sour taste to the sandwich, it had strong punch of vinegar as if they had soaked the entire stuffing in the vinegar.

Hospitality/Service- 0/10 Ambience/Place: 2/10 Taste: 3/10 Cost effective: 5/10

I understand it's a start-up and a first outlet in lucknow but in order to take it to the heights the team needs to work on overcoming these things.

The attendants were more focused on selling a franchise of this MBA Chai wala to someone, I would request the team to first take care of this outlet instead of expanding it to other places, first establish this outlet properly, then think about future endeavours.

I loved the grilled cheese sandwich and the cheese Maggi served with the tea I ordered. Its not a big restaurant but its a comfortable place and the food at Gomti Nagar MBA CHAIWALA cafe was tasty . I saw some guys smoking but not inside the cafe they were out so I felt girls can go and atmosphere is also good they play songs on the TV there and the staff is polite, sitting comfortably on the sofas and chairs. I was glad to see a girl in the staff too. Overall i should say Instead of going to an expensive restaurant and unfortunately if you don't get tastebuds satisfied then you can surely go to a good cafe where snacks are tasty too it's better you go and explore yourself....

I have been to MBA chai Wala quite a few times now and it is one of my favorite cafes in Lucknow to visit. The ambience especially, I think is the best part about the place. The food is simply delectable and worth every penny that you spend. I really like their chai and bun Maska. Last time I went their I decided to order something that I usually don't, I went for a Poha and let me tell you I was not disappointed.
