Main drawback - orders aren't cancelled, even if they can't fulfill order in full We ordered meal but wanted only tava roti. Server said it will take time. We said fine, as my sister has teeth shaky from previous day fall. After 30 hour he said can't deliver roti as person who can make is on leave we said cancel. But he showed no cancellation note. We told him either deliver our order as ordered or cancel. We were served meal without any roti. No deduction. He says can give more rice. But what to eat with that? God alone knows MR. CHOWDHURY - you have to change your policy. Remeber customer is always right
Same next day. With paratha curds is given in katory. I asked for it. Ghee sent a very big bowl of curds. Then they said Puri is given with katori raitha, but curds is separate. He said can't cancel. Hey wait a minute, restaurant is place we eat what we want. Isn't it Mr.Chowdhry
Sweets were good. Idli little bit and tough. Sambar good chutney no taste. CHOWDHURY spl meal makhni was good. Veg rice average. Dhal ok. Paneer alright. TOO PRICEY. too many rotis which a person can't eat. They should Think of reducing roti and giving...

Visited Chaudhary Sweet House, Vijay Chowk – Gorakhpur today and had a really satisfying experience. We ordered Handi Paneer and Roti Ki Tokri. The paneer dish was rich, creamy, and full of flavor – perfectly garnished with fresh coriander and cream. The Roti Ki Tokri came with a great variety of breads like naan, missi roti, tandoori roti, and papad – all served warm and fresh.
The complimentary onion and pickle added that authentic Indian touch to the meal.
What I loved: • Tasty and fresh food • Clean and hygienic environment • Quick service with polite staff (Special thanks to cashier Devendra)
🔻 What could improve: • Prices are slightly on the higher side, but the quality justifies it.
Overall, if you’re in Gorakhpur and looking for a pure vegetarian restaurant with rich North Indian flavors, Chaudhary Sweet House is definitely...
Read moreWe ordered - Pani puri Chowmein Dosa Pao bhaji
All items were disgusting and pathetic. The aloo in Pani puri was not worthy.
The chowmein was stale and the vegetables were all uncooked. Seems the chef was in a lot of hurry and forgot to prepare it with full dedication.
The Dosa was completely devastating. The authentic south Indian dishes always have sarso seeds and curry leaves. There was no authenticity in dosa. The batter was a mix of some unconventional dals instead of urad and rice. The masala was more like aalo matar sbji instead of conventional masala. There was no taste of coconut in the chutney. And sambar was a disaster.
Too much butter used in pao bhaji. Grated paneer is not a good option in bhaji.
The staff was unprofessional as there was delay in order.
Overall it was a dreadful first experience of this restro. I will never recommend...
