Gulshan E Karim — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Space wise better than the old restaurant. Lots of space here compare to the old place and quality of food is the same. So if you are passing through Moradabad and don't want to go in inner parts of the city then it should be a place to visit especially for non-veg items. Visited on 20 July 2017 and feel that nowadays they do not pay that much attention to the veg items. So if you are going to veg items then go somewhere else. For non-veg still the best.

Update: Earlier has given 4 stars but after my recent visit on 2 April 2018, here is my review. The veg items have become just ridiculous. There are hardly 7 to 8 items in veg and all tastes bland. Non-veg items also do not taste as they used to be earlier. I cannot comment about the taste in the old restaurant but the taste here in the new restaurant has gone average. In terms of service that is pathetic too. Waiters here does not bother at all and then they demand you tips up to RS. 100 and upwards. I must say now the service has gone really bad and food has become just average. For non-veg items, you can still visit here but for veg items, it's a complete no from my side. We are situated at one of the most crowded places of Moradabad. Gulshan-e-Karim Restaurant is undoubtedly an excellent place to visit. The restaurant is known for high quality dishes and wonderful ambience provided to the eating enthusiasts of Mughal. Be it vegetarian and non-vegetarian Indian delights, customers can find large variety of foods to satisfy their taste taste at this place.

If you are very found of non-vegetarian items, then you can certainly find great value in wide variety of chicken, Fish and mutton items served with utmost delicacy. My experience at Gulshan-e-Kareem was absolutely disappointing, and I can confidently say this will be my first and last visit. I was traveling from Bareilly and was genuinely excited to eat there because of the restaurant’s reputed goodwill. Based on the hype, my friend and I decided to try their Chicken Changezi and Chicken Lollipop.Unfortunately, the reality was far from our expectations. The Chicken Changezi was a disaster—it was overly spiced to the point of being unpleasant. Even worse, it seemed like they served us food from the previous night. The dish lacked freshness, had an unappetizing blackish color, and tasted stale. It was a far cry from the flavorful and rich Chicken Changezi we were hoping for.The overall dining experience was underwhelming, and I felt it was a complete waste of money. The food quality does not justify the cost, and the hype surrounding this place is completely misplaced.I would strongly advise others to avoid Gulshan-e-Kareem.
