Hira Sweets — Restaurant in Uttar Pradesh

Had visited Hira Swwets for the special Breakfast. Had reaced at 1115 hrs. NOT 01 WAITING STAFF turned up for taking and order untill i made noise. Once placed an order at 1128(as per the waiter), i had ordered parntha. But as i was still hungry i asked for puri sabzi. To that the waiting staff refused to serve the same saying post 1130 it cannot be made available at Rs 75, so ine has to pay more. I resisted this by saying had he not made me wait for 15 minutes before taking my order, this wouldn't have happened. He said he cant do anything rudely. I asked for the floor manager. I told him the same, lodged my protest to him and requested him to assist me. But to my utter shock, the manager countered me by saying that he was there inly and no such thing had happened. Indirectly blamng me. I am shocked. I request the management to kindly chck the in restaurant footage of the whole incident and take necessary action against such nonsensical behaviour of the staff. I had a good 1st experience so i visited a 2nd time but now after this nonsense way of teeating customers, not only will i not go to the restaurant i will also make sure my friends do not visit this outlet so that they are not humiliated by the pathetic staff as well as the manager. This is a complaint. Incase you the management also feel that i am at fault, please do let me know. Thanks...

Hira Sweets is sweet shop along with restaurants, fast food varieties. Restaurant have many options including bakery, chat pakodi, Chole Bhature , Restaurant menu and others. Many reviews are posted online but today I want to mentioned review its new breakfast range.

Restaurant timing is good from 8:30 to 11:00 you can enjoy variety of breakfast mostly famous in meerut for morning breakfast. Rates are Rs. 75 per item plus GST.

Pros: You can enjoy neat and good ambience. Parking space also available. Order serving is fast. Staff is alert and prompt. Rates also Ok as per restaurant standard. Mostly option for breakfast available at single venue. Cons: The taste which generally we like which is available many shops ages old or some Gali nukkar famous shop is completely missing at Hira Sweets as per my experience. Puri sabjior kachori sabji is most famous breakfast in meerut but the taste is not upto the mark here. The same with aloo paratha. Sambhar and coconut chutney taste good.

Not very customer friendly place with absurd and weird policies being followed religiously. The prices vary on zomato (for both: the online ordering option as well as the dine-in option), for some dishes the price difference was as much as double the price of a dish like Dal Makhani. On telling the staff, got told that the menu has not been updated since 2 years and they had requested the online platform t update it, but the request has been pending with them for quite sometime now. Zomato showed two types of Dal Makhani options (while ordering online) whereas there was only one kind of it being made and the second one only for charging the online customers furthermore. Previously when ordered dosa got weird looks for requesting extra sambhar. This place holds immense potential only if the little things are taken care of.
